It's hard to get the whole swap. I usually focus on the first few lines in each section that fill up early since they had a higher concentration of cars for sale.

Yes...windshields for a '56 Olds are available.....they seem to range from about $210-$400. I once had a 1967 Plymouth Fury III 4-door...and it had a 383 "Commando" V8....it was a beaut, haha......with about 3 layers of pealing paint, a yellow right-rear door (probably from a taxi) that had a weld bead on it...and it probably needed a rebuild on the engine...but I got it for $100 and it got me around for a while.....sold it to a friend for the same price, who was thrilled with it, so didn't lose anything! That fluid drive sounds like a pre-synchromesh version of synchromesh. The Tri-Five Chevy 2-door wagons that are NOT a Nomad are called a "Handyman"...although there may have been another slight variation with another name, but I can't quite remember. They were offered in the 150 and 210 trim levels.....but you may have been able to order them with the "Del Ray" package added....not quite sure about that.

Figured those had to be available. Didn't want to say for sure in case they weren't. When I bought my Pacer a website said the windshields for those were available. Turned out they weren't and I had to buy a parts car to get one for my car.

My son and I were there and ALMOST bought that 81 concord but decided against it, we were looking for a car that is somewhat of a clean start to build for the Hot Rod Powertour next year, we just bought a 1980 Ford F-150 for next to nothing here in Northwest Arizona and drove it home.

I don't know what the guy paid. I put in a very low bid at the estate sale just to make sure it didn't wind up at the junkyard. His asking price was kinda high for one that still needed work from sitting.

@@MikeFrankovich Yeah it was pretty high. it was a nice car but $3200 nice, had it been a 2 door I could see it but not for a 4 door.

The last time California reissued every vehicle a license plate was 1963 when the black plates came out. A car with black plates usually signifies that it has been in California since new or at least since 1963. As of about 10-15 years ago you can re-register black plates to correct year cars even if they weren't originally from CA through the year of manufacture program though.

Mike, good variety. You've said before it's "Pomona pricing" for a lot of these cars. Some seem fairly priced, yet others the owners would have to pay me to crush them. Have you ever seen any of the "crush" cars sell for anywhere close to what the owner is asking?

Cars do sell at Pomona, but only the reasonably priced ones. People get there the night before and extremely early in the morning since that's supposedly when the deals can be found. This swap meet has been known for many years to have mostly sellers with high prices. I try to be honest in my assessment of which ones are good deals and which ones are "Pomona priced."

I prefer to have the ambient noises of the events I film even if it takes longer to film and edit around the copyright music that happens to be playing in the background. Thanks for watching.

A lotta 10K and up project cars...OR you could get something complete that runs for 30K and up !! I know im exaggerating a little but so were a lot of those prices.

Hi Mike, Mike Kramer here from Fleetwood Pa, great videos, only one thing when showing the for sale signs, U might want to remember the sun glare on the sign, so you cant view the whole sign its glared out! Take care man and stay safe!!!!!!
