There was a challenge in the Polytopia Discord server where the player has to achieve the lowest score possible in Domination. I tried it and I got around 33% by letting me enemies kill off my units and using mind benders to convert and capture enemy cities. Overall, it took around 121 turns with 15 crazy bots.

Try healing a 9 health warrior, or a 14 health shield battleship. If you use a mind bender then there is a glitch in the game right now that makes the mind bender heal 4 health regardless of how much the unit currently has. I've tested it, and these extra health units do extra damage as well, because of the health-damage mechanic. I have actually gotten 13, 18, 23, and 43 health battleships.

I am watching this at 3:50 am, my head hurts, I feel like sh*t, and can barely keep track of what you are saying. I like the video, goid to see the chalkenges back!

Just so you know, if an upgradable veteran unit is at full HP you can let them take a few hits and then next turn promote them, giving them full HP +5.

My Challenge: Siege fire: You're only allowed to use cloaks and dagger units in order to siege cities, only catapults and archers are allowed to aid them in sieging no other melee units can be near their cities. You can however use melee units away from enemy cities (2 tiles) and for capturing villages.

my challenge: - Vengir - 256 tiles archipelago map - 5 bots - all cymantis - crazy difficulty - you can’t train swordsmen or warriors (you can use mind-bended, starting ones and the one you start with)

Polaris is so unstoppable in late game matches it's actually stupid

Hey GullYY I have another challenge: Win a game against crazy bots without any technologies (so start with luxidor since they have no starting tech and have an advantage over aquarion). I’m not sure how hard it will be, so you can decide on the amount of bots you want.

Pretty sure if you do it on a map larger than tiny and with more bots than 1, you lose

It seems basically impossible, crazy bots start with about as much income as you'll ever have. You can't even sneak in cities because you only have 1 move units. You need to get lucky with swordsmen ruins to take a single city, which makes it a little easier, but getting any tech from the ruins means you fail the challenge.

the ice archer with the weird symbol was there twice there was the cloak icearcher and there was a mooni ice archer

You should do Cimanti but you can only attack with bugs

My son wonders why you don't use mindbenders to simply take some of all those frozen unit?

I love how you can just stun lock units using moonies.

He waited because tech becomes more expensive when you capture a city and he didnt have enough stars to research the tech he wanted (forestry). So he waited a turn to get enough stars to research forestry before capturing the city

@@minimartini2973 Finaly so research economy is directly effected by number of cities you have, is that the only thing that ups the cost or do number of turns or anything else effect it?

When you capture a new city, tier 1 tech increases by 1 star, tier 2 tech increases by 2 stars, and teir 3 tech increases by 3 stars. The only thing that affects tech price is the number of cities in your empire, and if you have the Philosophy tech or not

Question: why do you keep freezing units before one-shot killing them? It seems like a waste of time, if you're going to kill them with one shot anyway it doesn't matter if they're frozen or not.

How about you can only kill units with a single swordsman/knight, and if you loose that swordsman/knight, you loose. You can attack, and weaken enemies with other units, but you HAVE to kill them with the knight/swordsman

I feel like the challenge they submitted wasnt really followed, even if the ice archer doesnt deal damage its still attacking a unit that isn't frozen but thats also all about wording and how strict it should be followed but other than that really cool challenge either way!
