The section Steve Vai gets introduced in feels like a love letter. It was so good, and the trumpet at the end is such an uplifting and triumphant conclusion, the younger generation being lifted up by their idols. It's bloody hard to imagine how they must feel in that moment, but their music explained it to us much better than any amount of words ever could. Totally amazing.

One of the coolest things to me is to wonder who called who. I wonder that because I read an article where a music outlet asked Vai who his favourite up-and-comer guitarists are. And his number 1 was Tim Henson. I can only imagine that if they called him then he just jumped at the chance to play with the band he thinks is the next step in guitar.

Notice how Scott is sitting on the throne in the second part, the same throne Steve Vai was sitting on for his introduction... From my angle, this seems to symbolize the passing of the guitar god torch to the younger generation. By all means I could be wrong, but I'm not.

You're spot on I think! However Tim also spends time in the throne in the clip. Vai is at the pinnacle(rooftop) and at the end they all stand together and focus on the trumpet playing the melody of the song. Seems like a statement they're making that they just love melody and music and that's why Steve respects them. Its about the removal of themselves and their ego and letting the melody control what they do in order to push the craft forward.
