@@oshke5225 calling it polar opposite is way off in my humble opinion (listened to bits of all of them). Bittersweet sounds a bit different since it’s more legato than their usual staccato style. Otherwise it’s tapping and other technical stuff over simple, repetitive chord progression. Might as well tap over Sheeran’s songs. I acknowledge their technical and slightly unusual style but musically…not much in there. At least not in the songs I’ve encountered so far. Nice jumpers, though.

@@caioteixeira1541 it 100% is not their worst song, you're just not used to the more pop and vocal aspect they've introduced. whether you like it or not this is a very good decision from them in terms of trying to reach more people. thats not to say this is their format from now on

@@YURI-OFFICIAL i don't think it is a good decision to reach new listeners in detriment of the old ones. Hope the new listeners offset the ones that are never coming back. Also it's not that I'm not used to it, i straight up don't listen to anything close to it ever. Also why it doesn't mean it is their format for now on? They sold out to pop they are dead simple as that. Great musicians tho it's just not for me anymore. Anyway you guys have fun with this garbage 😂 Btw I don't wanna be rude to you it's just in tired of things that I love being transformed into straight trash.

i love how she added the Japanese alphabet and i love the melody as well this might be my new favourite riff.

Clay is an absolute virtuoso but Clay really brings it in this song too

Pretty different sound and from a different era, but frank zappa also did a sort of zany complex pop. Definitely sounds like there was some influence in that busy part

My favorite thing about bands is seeing them have fun with what they are doing, and these goofy music videos hit that mark.

I wish I could find a radio edit so I could have my kids rock this song, cause it is the most catchy guitar song ever written. 😅🤘🎸

I like how I didn’t like polyphia at first. Then all they’re riffs and stuff just keep popping in my head, now I pretty much listen to polyphia almost everyday

This video deserves a grammy for having the track charted for guitar hero... 10/10

This is not necessarily a style in which I was expecting to see them, even tho I know Tim listens to pop a lot. But I've got to admit that they've nailed it. It's not really my style but they've, once again, transcended as a band. What impresses me is how they laid back and left space for the singer and only really went ham during the "conventional" solo section of the song. Hats off once more.

Lyrics are trash. Song would be better off as instrumental without this classless broad ruining the song.

The production on this song is so good. Gave the instruments and vocals their own spaces in the mix. It even got Tim and Scott to take a back seat and play rythm parts lol. Talk about serving the song. Great video too!

I added this to playlist since I never listened to it, and I thought an ad was playing in-between songs. EDM/Pop vocals were the last thing I expected to hear in a Polyphia song, but it grew on me and workd suprisingly well.

Sophia has such a strong screen presence. She is on this track as the singer but she is absolutely gold in front of the camera.

Except for the "yi" and "ye" which do not exist. And funnily enough there's a mistake in the video on this part. She says "ya, yi, yu, ye, yo" but the hiragana on screen is "み、ゆ、よ" (mi, yu, yo)

A month later I'm prepared to say that this is one of the most brilliantly put together songs I've heard this year.

Shoutout to Sophia Black for matching the frenetic pace and energy of the band. My first impression of the song was that it’s too busy melodically, but I love the mood and her delivery reminds me of a more technical Ariana Grande. A couple more listens in and I dig it. That “ABCDEF…” hook on the chorus is also fun to try and sing along to because like, that’s a lot of letters 😆

For a song, I really enjoyed the ending of flipping chairs, tables, and screaming. Overall, really fantastic piece of music.
