Polymer Clay Technique: Ocean Bubbles Veneer Tutorial

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this tutorial I'll show you how to create a beautiful veneer using a silkscreen, pastels and alcohol inks. Keep in mind that you can use either the pastels or the alcohol inks. You don't have to use both, though I do show both variations in the veneer to show how much of a different it can make. You can use most silkscreens for this technique.

Thanks for sharing your talent, I have worked with clay a lot, but not polymer. So now I have polymer purchased and ready to make some pretty jewelry, your videos are very informative...thanks again. 😀

I appreciate how you thoroughly you explain your process. Since you frequently work with clay and resin it is so very familiar to you. For those of us without such familiarity it is awesome to have detailed info. Plus you mention options for those of us without the same supplies. That approach enables and encourages fans of all skill levels, experiences and outlets to feel inspired. That is indeed a gift. You mentioned you welcome feedback re future projects. The diversity on your channel is amazing. I appreciate you do not mostly focus on floral creations. I cannot think of any suggestions.

I’ve seen some artists do a video gallery of projects they’ve done. I would love to see something like that from you. You seem to have a wide variety of techniques for working the clay and I would love to see more of your finished pieces.

Do the pastels withstand light fade better than the alcohol inks? Will either fade after baking? Thank you again for a wonderful and inspiring demo.

Both will fade a bit after baking, but the pastels are more fade resistant than the alcohol ink.
