Polymer Clay Mokume Gane: Watercolor Mokume Gane Tutorial

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is a fun take on the classic Hidden Magic Technique. With a few twists and tweaks it can look quite different and interesting. The one I’ll show you today has a watercolor effect to it hence the name Watercolor Mokume Gane. You can try this in any color you like, and it would look completely different with a different texture stamp. It’s fun, easy and a great overall technique. Let’s get started.

Samantha, just wondering if you ever share the pics of what others have done with your techniques (maybe you aren’t allowed to, but I’d love to see those too). I do love watching your tutorials. I have bought a couple of your paid tutorials from Etsy and I can’t wait to try them!

I do try to do this on my facebook page and website. On the website I have forms under each tutorial where people send in their photos. www.jessamatutorials.com/faux-agate-polymer-clay.html#INV facebook.com/samantha.burroughs.357

Hi Samantha, love this and will definitely give it a go. I’m a newbie but your videos give me confidence! 😊 Just wondering where you got the long acrylic roller? I can’t seem to get one longer than 7”. I looked in your Etsy page as I thought you might sell them. Perhaps you should, they’re not easily found. Did you have it made for you?

Hi Amy, I bought mine a long time ago from Etsy. I have no idea who the seller was. I have looked into stocking them, but unfortunately they are very heavy, and the shipping costs are just too high for international customers. Sorry I could not be more help.

I like to store them in plastic bags that are compatible with the polymer clay until I'm ready to use them. :D
