  • @publicminx

    @publicminx

    6 ай бұрын

    Thats because you are likely yourself a Romance language native and can differ more easily the different languages of that family. For people not used to that its more difficult. Of course for ppl who know a bit more its easier. French is more unique, because of the Germanic (old Frankish dialect) influence. Lets not forget that France (which has for a reason the same name as for instance Frankfurt in Germany or Fraken in Bavaria etc.) is just an offspring (the Western part) of the Germanic Frankish Empire back then. You had Germanic tribes interacting (trade, war, conflicts of all kind, migration etc.) with the Roman Empire, later due to more and more pressure of those tribes the fall of the Western Roman Empire and in most parts of Europe now Germanic dynasties of different tribes. The Frankish Empire was one of them and influenced the vulgar latinized 'Celtic/Gauls' in that region. That French sound unique and sexy is mainly the result of the Germanic dialect influences. To a lower degree you also have that in Spanish too (because also Spain, Portugal etc. were different Germanic kingdoms, Empires etc for a long time, in Spain you also had for some time Islamic influences etc.). The 'ez' or 'es' suffixes or names like Carlos/Carla (= from Karl/Carl) or Rodriguez (= Germanic Roderick) or Fernando/Fernandez (Ferdinand) etc. bla bla... But impact on the vulgar latin speaking people back then was a bit lower since the Germanic dynasties kept mostly among themself and were a minority in most cases (but there was still an impact, there were many tribes after all who intermingeled with the local population - a bit more as many are aware). Similar happened to England (England and English just like AngloSaxons also got the naming from Germanic tribes. Angeln and Sachsen for instance). Normandie (= Nordmaenner/Northmen), Lombardy in Italy (means Langbaerte/Long beards) etc. etc. anyway, 10-15% of 'French' has Germanic influences, especially from the Northern regions of the Frankish empire (Paris included). But also other Germanic kingdoms like Burgundes (which were also a Germanic Empire) had some impact. Long story short: if you know a bit more about history and how the different languages had their evolution then you can also recognize a bit more. In general can Italian, Portugese, Spanish speakers better recognize the differences among those languages while for ordinary people its more difficult to differ just like for other people its more difficult to differ German from Dutch or Danish or Swedish etc. ...

    Unless you spend hours and hours a day practicing a language you’ll forget it. There’s no way you can speak 6 languages fluently. I speak 6 as well to different levels but it’s a pain in the ass remembering everything and you keep stumbling looking for words all the time.

    Nesse vídeo vcs mostram quão amigas vcs são. Espero que a produção aproveite mais isso nos vídeos, mas escrever isso em ptbr não ajuda.

    The french girls is confident she arrives and talking french since from beggining to test both. In the final just friendship and mutual admiration. 🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦🦦💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 I'm proud of all theses gals 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. They truly elevate languages, they transform languages into music. When these educated girls start to speak the languages they become music 🎸🎷🎸🎷 for me, I lose the desire to speak, and it's nice just to hear their voices and really learn more🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

    To answer you since Im from croatia hahah we do but we dont like to count them as additional languages that we know since that would be kinda cheating cause those languages are basically the same

    That would be like Danish person bragging that he understands Norwegian and Swedish or Russian that he understands Belarus and Ukrainian, languages that come from the same root are not very "polyglotic" 😂

    It doesn't. If you say you've been there, you're one of “them”.
