I knew German at level A1 (and half A2) when I came to Germany. Although my German was basic, I kept speaking even when I would struggle. That helps in being comfortable in a language and fluency. So keep speaking even if you still don't know the language well.

tip for learning languages from shows, actively try to recognise what people are saying, separate the words etc even you don’t understand completely, then see your native subtitles and try to link the words, so you will start to see patterns words being repeated in similar contextes. this I believe is much much better methid than “studying” a langauge

Well, I'm normally not one to comment on a KZread video, but I want to let you know that watching and listening to your conversations with others in multiple languages in this video not only inspired me, but also gave me the much-needed enlightenment I needed in order to understand Spanish more effectively. I'm quite sure to explain it rather than saying that you opened up a door that denied me the possibility of improving on the language not just at school, but also in my free time also well. And shortly after when I found out about your fight with your illness, it made me more determined to learn Spanish. If someone like you was in such a agonizing situation but didn't give up no matter what, what am I doing with my own life, sitting on my hands and say "its too hard', "or i could never understand it"? This comment may be seen as an overreaction or whatever. Nobody may even see this comment and I'm fine with that. But I want to say this. Mr. Ikenna, you've reignited the passion of learning inside me, and for this, I will be forever grateful. I wish you the best with your future endeavors.

Well, to be honest, it's approximatly how I learned to speak english, but instead of watching movie or series I played video games. The trick is to find an activity you like enough to be able to switch for an other language without getting bored by the difficulties you'll encounter. Also, I think it's easier to learn a language from media with visuals supports, because it help your brain to make associtions between what you see and what you hear. Anyway, keep it up and continue to work hard. One day or another you gonna be as good as you hope to.
