    我现在自学华语、闽语、韩语和马来西亚语,纯粹都是为了兴趣。我是外语爱好者。那位比利时华侨那么年轻就能讲好几种语言,实在令人羡慕。我也认为被逼学外语 效果不大。外语应该快快乐乐地学才对。 我也跟Steve老师一样,不怎么爱看戏剧。我比较喜欢阅读外语报刊。 Let's enjoy many foreign languages.

Steve, you are such a sincere and genuine person. I can see this from the effort you've put into learning Mandarin to such a standard that your command is among the level of native speakers. Bravo! And it's always nice to see Felix, he is also such an inspiration.

Hi Steve! How are you? I have a question about how you improved your spoken Chinese. In some of your videos, you said that you need to get yourself in a situation in which you have to speak the target language for a certain amount of time at one point to be a fluent speaker. In case of your Chinese, when and how did you get such a situation? How long did you continue it? I'm very curious to know. I hope my English question is OK enough to be understood=) Thank you for your answer!

自修 ("无师自通") 这种意念是 Luca 在一部录影用英语谈过: "Language cannot be taught, it can only be learned". 一个人可以成功学习一种/多种语言是靠自己的努力. 有很多人去上课多年但还不能说话... 有些人学习语言在一年内已经可以讲得很流利...

I would say Felix's English is better. Felix's Mandarin vocabulary seems a little limited. His French is his best language, so, learning English is very easy for him. Both English and Taiwanese Mandarin pronunciation are about the same. 他們都說得好。學習中文挺難的因為有很多單字。

In my opinion they both speak excellent mandarin. Steve actually does have a bit northern accent whereas the Asian guy sounds a bit from south. They both have standard pronunciation. China is a vast country there's no such standard for mandarin.
