Gille87 First of all, all of these dancers are in high school, second of all, most of these dancers are learners and know barely anything about the Cook Islands culture, thirdly this performance won first place sooooooooo idont think you should be judging :L you say 'fa'arapu', its a cook island competition not a tahitian competition. Till you tutor a high school and have them pull off a performance as good as this AND MAY I ADD place FIRST in Polyfest, maybe THEN you can start judging

That energy was so amazing. If anyone knows, why is the Polynesian culture so big on the West coast ? Specifically in CA? All the competitions ( in America) that I have seen on KZread including Polyfest are all in Cali why is that? I heard the originally "San Jose fete" is supposed to be moving to NY this October according to the organizer I hope its true because I want to compete so bad. I'm trying to start a Polynesian dance team in our community the one we did have just suddenly disappeared IDK who they even were. So I want to bring it back.

Cheerdance Adviceforyou polyfest is held at the Valendrome in Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand...Unless there’s a Polyfest in Cali that us kiwis don’t know about🤷♀️

Love or hate, it's not my responsibility how u take or deal with criticism. That's reality. One can always improve and get better. Professionals or not...doesn't matter.
