I may have to brush up on the Polvo discography, but does anyone recognize the song they start playing at around the 46th minute?

The drummer is Brian Quast, correct? He’s no Eddie, that’s for fucking sure.

    can anyone guess their tunning?

On Shapes, Dave and Ash tweek Drop-D tuning. On Exploded Drawing and This Eclipse they used E B A G A F. Some of Today's Active Lifestyles and Celebrate the New Dark Age were done with lowG G C C C E as well as them just tuning down half a step. Cor-Crane secret was done in D A A G D D, with "Vibracobra" and "Lazy Comet" done in D A# A# # D D. I found it at this web: www.oocities.org/sunsetstrip/palladium/1131/polvotab.html

I've been trying to learn some of their songs. The oocities website is somewhat incorrect. Most of Cor-Crane is in BF#F#EBB With the F#s and Bs being in unison. This is also the tuning for My Kimono. Fast Canoe and some songs from ED are in GGBBBD# (the 5th string G is an octave higher than the sixth low G and the 2nd B string is an octave higher than the lower unison Bs). And Most of shapes is in DADGAE BUT El Rocio, Enemy Insects, and Twenty White Tents is tuned half a step higher which would be D#A#D#G#A#F. Hope this helps anyone trying to play their songs on guitar! Super weird tunings.

The teardrop shaped one I believe is a Vox and the burst hollow body is a Kent 834. I have the same one in red bought around this era, because Polvo played them. Haha
