Good video and nice approach on the rebuild. I did my BMY engine and getting fault code on the crank sensor connected to the rear main seal P0321, using the tool to install it. Any suggestion is welcome.

Very informative and helpful. I have a quick question sir. I have exactly the same car but it’s a 1.6 my 2nd and 3rd plugs are getting slightly Wet with oil. What is the best way forward do I only do the cylinder head/valve stem seals, oil rings or do i need to do a complete engine overhaul? Your advise will be appreciated thanks.

30nm 90 degrees, 90 degrees(2 times 90 degree cycle) use oil on bottom of threads and underneath top of bolts. Use an MLS gasket and Elrond head bolts.

I wish u can fix my BAH engine one of my local mechanic overhaul my engine it was starting just that it had no power and it was rough idling, so after overhaul the engine is no longer starting no spark no petrol from the injectors he told me he fitted the wrong crankshaft for other polo now I have no idea what's going on

Check rear main oil seal, people have a tendency of buying the wrong one
