I do agree with the public transport statement, America needs a better transportation system in cities and rural communities.

America is huge, public transport works in small congested areas only, the fantasy utopian thought process isn’t realistic.

That's BS. We could do it here in the US. It's just about priorities. And the dominance of private automobiles.

@@davidhutchinson5233 Good of explanation of the ‘how.’ You can share crowded train cars, buses, etc…they’re already in place, but privacy rules the day because of people’s choices. There’s no private automakers holding a gun to your head to buy anything. However, forced transit would be, the same as anything the gov’t has mandated in our history; taxes, tolls, fees, gold confiscation, and many more.

I was hoping he would just keep moving over until he was off camera. On more than one occasion Horace Cooper scooted his chair away from George Carlin when he didn't agree with his POV. Wow, what an arrogantly immature reaction.

That was the language of the time. We were still very close to the Reagan nanny state language. Also, it was much more rare to be a black republican and I think to "prove yourself" that you are a "good republican" you really had to go overboard with the dogma.
