When it comes times to sell, a polish is a minus in value, first thing every dealer knocks money off when making an offer.
I don’t understand why dealers describe as “excellent condition” after watch being polished. With high quality jewelers loupe you can easily find a spot that was missed. Don’t polish them, just leave them as is. Buy for less and sell for less.
Does polishing decrease value? Lol

Yeah it decreases value, cause most often they over polished. Thus, blur the natural lines of the watch and even over exposed screws and or change the definition of the design bezel edges and lugs. I own my 16710 for 18 yrs, and i refuse to polish it
The Cartier looked the most improved.
The bracelet I understand. But what the hell were they doing to get the side of the case scuffed up like that?
