Polskie tanga są najlepsze, mają najpiękniejsze słowa na świecie, gdy się słucha Astona czy Faliszewskiego to zaczynają cieknąć łzy z oczu , dziś mało kto potrafi to osiągnąć...

Ideed - Polish tangos are in par with any Argentinian, but are terribly under appreciated because they are not known.

First words already magestic! Tone of a real gentleman, sure of his claims, aware of his dignity. Do not understand the words, but I do recognise the genious in the voice.

Hello Grzegorz - This Tango is a super masterpiece. Adam Aston is also one of the Gods of Tango. Wlast wrote a lot of awesome lyrics but his partners - composers Wars, Petersburski, Gold and others - were - probably - for certain - not recognized and not appreciated huge Tango greats. Astor Piazzola pales in comparison to those Polish geniuses of Tango. Thanks - and accept tons of Tango Hugs! Have a great Sunday!!!

@boazrg Between 1939-45 plus several years of postwar Stalinist massacre in political prisons in communist-occupied Poland, the nation lost 99% of its prewar elite. It was a specialised and very prolific German-Russian cooperation in eliminating the best of Polish genetic resources.Reclaiming that loss is a job for dozens of generations - if ever.Eliminating Poles -just after the Jews -was part of Hitler's plan, while Stalin was taking revenge on Poles for victory in Polish-bolshevik war of 1920

And now, when I hear that Kaczynski and PiS have desire to destroy the "old elite" and exchange all present intelligentsia to the "new elite - chills are going down my spine. And that's what they're doing. Slowly but surely.

He also went under the names Adam Wiński, Adam Stanisław Lewinson, recorded also under names J. Kierski, Adam Winski and Ben-Lewi. He used the name Ben-Lewi when recording in Hebrew. In 1920, he fought in the Polish-Soviet War. In late 1941, he joined the Polish II Corps of General Anders . In 1944, he fought at the Battle of Monte Cassino in Italy. After the war he lived in Johannesburg, South Africa and in 1960 moved to the United Kingdom.

Like you, Dr. G., Aston never fails to come through. I also love the ads, esp. Fuchs's Czekoladki and those Cazimi lady soaps.

Jesli dzieciakom wtłacza się tylko przysłowiowe "Naszą szkapę i Pan Tadeusza", to głupieją. Lepiej przerobić mniej lektur,a wytłumaczyć cel i kontekst pisanych utworów. Najgorsze jest to, że obecne pokolenie wychowuje się w kompletnym braku szacunku do naszego kraju i jego instytucji.
