@@lance1635 over time I think it would. its not made to be used all the time. just the rare instance of being stuck in sand or mud....something that will never happen to like 95% of the folks who own these

For those who don't know, Maybach implemented this feature to shake off the peasantness of the air before it enters the cabin.

For those who don't know, the feature of the suspension is using is designed to get the vehicle unstuck in loose terrain. But considering the majority of customers treat these crossover vehicles as pavement princesses, they never get to see proper use.

G-Class uses independent front supsension with coil springs and rear straight axle with coil springs. this means that this bouncing feature can not be installed on the G-Class.

@gh3359 That's not true. I've driven only Range Rover Sports since 2015. I've purchased them only used. I'm on my third Sport now and their very maintainable as long as the services are kept up. I also have 740i that I purchased used. Someone paid $88,000 for it new. I paid a third of that. Also very maintainable.

For those who don't know, Maybach implemented this suspension feature to save the vehicle in case it's stuck in sand or mud. A very handy feature for Maybach owners who are known to push these cars to their limits and off-road as these cars where designed for.

I'm pretty sure all brands and make have this feature, just in the parking lot along the river in my neck of the woods last night, plenty of parked cars doing this.
