    Do not listen to Brie's gaslighting. They showed an edited video of the professor's arrest. CNN has the full 2:32 video. In that video it shows her yelling at the police as they are placing someone in tie wraps. You cannot see but she bends down and apparently slaps the police officer. The reason I say this is because after the Hill cuts over the video she apologizes and says she was just reacting. Also, since she was arrested for battery, I believe the body cams will show her striking the police. When news organizations edit videos in an attempt to hide and gaslight their subscribers, they are garbage news.

    Yes Robbie is correct that the ADL is justifying new rules using the same rhetoric, but Bri is correct that an objective analysis shows that there was *real* injustice in the civil rights movement but not here, so the rhetoric is justifiable in one case but not the other.

    Whereas Bri's takes here are her own, Robbie is merely conveying the opinion of the ADL, "conservatives say" etc. (and yes I know that is his role on this program). It's insincere of Robbie to say that the ADL does not lobby for the obvious country, he clearly knows better and much of the audience does too.

    She wasn't doing anything but verbally telling two cops to stop manhandling a student. The third cop had no right to grab her. She didn't hit him until he grabbed her. In this case she had the right to hit him. If someone grabbed you and tried to force you to the ground would you not have the right to hit them? Just because he's a cop isn't a free card to do whatever he wants to.

The problem was that she leaned in super close to the group of cops that were occupied with making a difficult arrest. The argument could be made that "if she was armed" this move would be threatening. She's told to get on the ground and refuses. Do I think the cop was excessive with his force? Yes I do. Was it "legally" excessive force? No it wasn't.

But set that aside and I offer a simple solution to the college aspect...... stop public funding, they make enough profit from tuition to cover expenses. Using our tax dollars to radicalize an entire generation guarantees future chaos and unrest! I don't see any threshold over 40k nor requirement of success in the definition provided by the Oxford dictionary.     I voted for Trump, but the House's new antisemitic bill dismantling Free Speech for a selected group of people, and Trump's willingness to terminate the Constitution make voting for him too risky. I now consider Biden the lesser of two evils, but if he fails to veto this bill (if it reaches his desk), I believe it would be catastrophic for America.     That's ridiculous. She barely moves her arm towrads him after he already has her by the wrist. The officer is twice her size. That reaction was excessive. All he had to do was tell her firmly that she needed to maintain her distance for his and the public's safety. Doing so would allow him enough space to do so. She had no visible weapon. Time will tell what the appropriate authorities determine and whether or not any lawsuits move forward.

    Policies designed to at least "theoretically" correct historic wrongs which have reverberated into the present ARE NOT the same as proposed policies designed to suppress dissent and free speech in order to protect a foreign state and the interests of its domestic elite benefactors. If you protest in a location that doesn’t impact my way of life or daily activity then have at it. But if it impacts me then I will push back. And if law enforcement gives you an order, especially by way of the establishment that you are protesting in, then it’s lawful and you’re in the wrong.
