Do not listen to Brie's gaslighting. They showed an edited video of the professor's arrest. CNN has the full 2:32 video. In that video it shows her yelling at the police as they are placing someone in tie wraps. You cannot see but she bends down and apparently slaps the police officer. The reason I say this is because after the Hill cuts over the video she apologizes and says she was just reacting. Also, since she was arrested for battery, I believe the body cams will show her striking the police. When news organizations edit videos in an attempt to hide and gaslight their subscribers, they are garbage news.

There's been nothing filmed showing police arresting protestors that shows anything other than normal procedures in crowd control and arrests. Like Bri, it's absurd to call it violence.
Policies designed to at least "theoretically" correct historic wrongs which have reverberated into the present ARE NOT the same as proposed policies designed to suppress dissent and free speech in order to protect a foreign state and the interests of its domestic elite benefactors. That doesn't mean that DEI shouldn't be "fair game" for debate or criticism. But these two things are clearly NOT the same thing.
Because she agrees with DEI, she doesn’t want to equate similarities between that & what the ADL is pushing for, but Robbie is right they use the same playbook to silence dissent

I am a liberal and wish Bri could be as measured and reasonable as Robby.
It's hilarious to see Bri agreeing with the right and not even realize it.
What does her being black have to do with anything. Bri is nuts some time.

Wow what a divide. Great job by putting these 2 together. But I look through a rational and moral lens, not an emotional one. If you protest in a location that doesn’t impact my way of life or daily activity then have at it. But if it impacts me then I will push back. And if law enforcement gives you an order, especially by way of the establishment that you are protesting in, then it’s lawful and you’re in the wrong.
Her face during the takedown 😂
Robby feels that any issue that touches Minorities are all the same and with the same outcomes.
Permanent criminal records for every person who refused to leave after authorities asked to disperse. Feel sorry for the police officers.
She gets really upset when others don’t agree that her issues are as dire or important or see it as she does
Protest in our republic is legal no matter how misinformed the student protestors are but ruining property and restricting movement is not legal.
No free world remains, really. Gaza and America both should be free.

If these students are really so upset about financial ties between their University & Israel, it seems 1st & foremost a logical step would be to stop attending/ paying tuition at these schools

@@BondJames-vz5wk Many of these "protesters", 60% at Columbia, were not students. They were paid to protest and agitate, and legally could be trespassed. They had no right or reason to be on campus.
Briahna, why did you not mention the fact that the professor hit a police officer? While I appreciate 2 view points I feel, especially lately your view/commentary's are not the full story. Robby sorry one of the few times I don't agree with you. While freedom of speech should ALWAYS be allowed, your freedom to speak your mind should NEVER infringe on another persons right to go about their business.
Brihana asks a great question. Point to a law that discriminates against Jews today. My counter would be to point to a law that discriminates against Black today. There are none, and therefore, we don't need specific laws protecting anyone. No AA, no DEI, nothing. Thankfully, our laws are now colorblind.
Here’s a common sense view….snipers because protester might have firearms who knows. Professors should not join students in protests or bring their political views into class. That professor laid hands on that police officer she is not above. the law 😩
If someone decides to participate in a protest that also must accept the consequences to those decisions when and if that protest gets out of hand and unruly.
