The fact that a hitman had a stronger sense of morality says a lot. I can't even imagine just what was going through the guys head when listening to Rosemary go into detail about wanting her sisters kids killed and she probably gave a description of them including their ages. The fact he willingly implicated himself so they could put a stop to Rosemary's plan says a lot.

Hitman kill people for profit, but I imagine a lot of them see themselves as vigilantes like Batman or the Punisher. I'm not condoning what they do, but they probably find the negative qualities in their victims and use it as justification for their actions. People have a habit of trying to paint themselves as the "hero." Not all hitman are like this, I'm sure some of them are cold and callous like Rosemary. It could have been just as simple as he saw the opportunity to fry a bigger fish, seeing as Rosemary was a high ranking LE officer and took the risk of exposing her for personal gain.

And I say this because it seems a lot of people don’t understand that; they don’t understand that it is never cut & dry or black & white. It’s something I could not imagine going through and something I have no clue how I would react to & in which way (if I had a son who I loved and cared immensely for who would inevitably become a school shooter or a daughter who would stab her s/o for his money or somethin). Life is never black & white.

Welcome to South Africa! As a South African I just want to thank you for covering this case. Here, if it's not high profile, they don't bother to investigate. Corruption is extremely prevalent within any and all government structures - the police force one of the worst tbh. Now, there are some good officers, saying they're all bad would be ignorant; but it's extremely rare to actually see them solve cases.
