My dog used to do this. She learnt spitting it out didn't work, so she'd have it get sticky with her saliva and stick to the fur around her mouth (bearded collie) and when we caught onto that she'd keep it in her cheek and spit it out later, and when we caught onto that she would spit it discreetly into the washing basket which was right next to where I gave her her tablet.

@@MHScrat I find what works is any sort of deli sliced meat with a little spray chess on it to embed the pill in. Then roll it up and the pill won't fall out. Of course I bait my Dog with a slice or two before doing this so she won't get suspicious and then she gets a few more slices afterwards. Quick, easy & painless and Dog loves it...

I guarantee that it won't be a 100% remote job. They're more than likely going to be piloting those drones/vehicles from inside of a Job shack close by. Construction already isn't 100% in the field (if you're anything above an apprentice level). Laborers and apprentices work almost exclusively in the field but everyone above that level, from Subcontractors to carpenters, even to superintendents and executives all have some percentage of work that they are allowed to, and can opt to, do at/from home

I think this will mostly be used in such things as fire fighting or toxic spill clean up and such. It will be used in cases where the local environment is too dangerous for a person. Like you have to move burning wreckage from a train wreck. Or get close to a burning oil rig.

In case you were wondering, the second dog segment was the branch manager demonstrating proper customer service technique to his employees!

Fun fact about the owls, its from Robert Fuller's channel and they were orphans, and the mom owl herself, was ALSO an orphan raised the same, so it is so wholesome to see her do the same to other orphans. =)

If you want your dog to swallow the meds, put it in the mouth, hold its jaw shut and blow in its nose. This will cause your dog to swallow several times. I did it with mine when it’s heartworm med time! Stay safe, stay sane, stay strong

My old dog (r.i.p. bailey) would not eat the pill if we put it in pillpockets or put it in his food.. he would always eat around it! UNLESS WE WRAPPED IT IN CHEESE! HE WOULD GOBBLE THE WHOLE THING DOWN WITHOUT CHEWING! (he would never chew)

They had to give me Benadryl because when I was under, I had an allergic reaction to the topical antibiotic. So I really had trouble waking up. I was also exhausted that week from work. Saltine crackers weren't doing it. Since it was a few days before Christmas, people had been bringing the nurses cookies. The nurse went and got me a couple of cookies from their tray and shared with me. Got my blood sugar back up 😋

@@LindaC616 well depends on the doctor. I’m the surgical technician for my hospital and my doctors are strictly no food or water until they go home after a few hours. Unless it’s a really young or small animal then they may offer a small meatball of low fat food post op. Otherwise the books say not to feed for a few hours and then offer half size meal and a small amount of water

The original full video is great as well, the guy documents a lot of the birds in his area and sets up nests with cameras. Usually with minimal intervention, but in this case there were abandoned babies found by someone he knew, and he was observing this mother have difficulties with her eggs, so he thought it could be the best for both parties to put them together. Thankfully it all worked out!

our old dog used to hate taking his pain meds (very bitter), so we would use the 3 doughnut hole trick. the first doughnut hole was normal, the 2nd one had the pain med in it, and the 3rd one was normal. he wouldn't take the pain med with a doughnut hole without that strategy. he was skeptical of the 1st one, but once he realized there were not meds in it, he would eat it. we did 3 because he wouldn't eat the 2nd one unless he had the 3rd one to chase it down. he was very food motivated, so he would wolf down whatever he was eating if he saw there was something more he could have. he really needed his pain meds and was losing weight in his old age, so it was a good strategy towards the end. RIP

1. Loved the bagpipe balloon/harmonica - super creative. 2. Loved the otter, cause OTTER! 3. The guy driving the moving truck around the snowy curves is VERY skilled. 4. If you want to trick your dogs into eating a pill, then take an entire slice of craft cheese and fold it into fours. You want a thick, bite-size piece. Wedge the pill in the center, and tamp down the ends to make it like a sealed piece of ravioli. Then get them excited to eat it by giving smaller bites of another slice as a decoy. Do the pretend "Do you want it" while pretending to toss it each bite, so they get so eager to get the next one, never knowing when it is going to be thrown at them, that they scarf down the pill bite. Then toss a couple more of the decoy ones afterwards because they wont be focused in the last bite. By doing this, they won't feel the pill in the middle if it is at all a normal size, and they won't stop to think about it too hard because they will be focused on their next bite.

A trick I use to get a dog to swallow a pill is to wrap the pill in a very special treat and have a second special treat that the dog can see ready. The dog will swallow the first treat whole just to get to the second treat as fast as possible. I have been using this technique since the 70s and it has worked for every dog I've had except for one that required a third treat. Yeah, she was one smart beagle and found many ways to outsmart us; she taught us a lot.

I use a pill shooter for my cats, it looks like a syringe that holds a pill, you stick it in their mouth past their tongue and push the plunger, it works great.

​@@legendcolt45 some pills need to be swallowed whole for the medicine to work correctly. And for the pills where you can do that, a lot of times the dogs don't like the taste of the powder. But I think there are some where it is possible!
