Actually I don't really understand, why poles nowadays come to Germany. I mean, the quality of life in Poland is pretty good now. You can earn enough money for the comfortable living. I'm actually russian from Sebastopol, Crimea. I came to my parents to Austria, when I was 16. Obviously my parents came to Austria much earlier. One of the reasons was the economic situation. Usually people earned (and earn now) in my home city 200-400 Euro in the mounth. There is no real possibility to go abroad for earning more money. As a pole you can indeed go to Germany for work, if you wish, but even without going abroad for working the life in Poland is actually good. So I can understand two guys in the video, who came to Germany many years ago, but I can not understand the young lady.

No ok, mogę to zrozumieć, bo może w Polsce mieli o wiele gorzej, a tutaj to przynajmniej jakaś stabilizacja.

Minimum wage is about 400 euro netto monthly. It is not truth that in Poland you can earn enough money for the comfortable living. I live in Poland and I know what it is like here -how does life here look like. Let's say you earn the minimum wage 400 euro netto monthly in Poland. And if you would to move out from your parents it is also in possible , because if you wanna rent a flat. It costs usually 300-350 euro monthly. From your salary after payment the rent for your flat you have only 50 euro for food and from this amount of money you must survive 30 days. Yeah, you can also rent a room and live with others people in the same flat but it is not comfortable, cuz you don't have your own privacy. The reason why polish people want to move to Germany is - There they can earn minimum thrice more than in Poland . If even you don't have any profession - you can provide for yourself in germany, regardless- from minimum wage. But in Poland it would by impossible . If you earn minimum wage in Poland you must live with you parents , because you cannot afford to rent a flat and then be independent. Obviously you can also earn more money in poland than minimum wage, but you need to have a profession, you need to have education in order to get a better job and receive more cash, But if you wanna study usually you need to have parents who can pay for your education , anyway if you have money from your parents for education you are a lucky man. If they donot have money for your education you need to get a job- often in order to support them with money you receive from your job , and this is usually a job for minimum wage, becuse you have no education to receive a better job. and in this situation if you would like to earn better - you need to go abroad usually to Germany to the UK or Holland...etc. Nowadays in Poland you can live better than 20 years ago , but There's still a big difference in standard of living in Poland than in the western Europe (germany, Uk, holland etc.) If polish people didn't have to go abroad in order to find a better job and consequently a better life- they wouldn't do this and they would stay willingly in Poland if Poland could give them the same standard of living as the western europe can give them.

most of the Poles get around 500 euros, and the minimum wage is 483 at the moment. So I wouldn't say is that good. On the other hand, knowing languages, studying medicine or being an engineer can get you much more.
