Love the way *hotdups* presents! You really put a lot of focus into presenting the bag. I don’t think there is any other KZreadr who can present a bag in as much detail as you do.

I absolutely love polene. There’s been criticism that it’s not functional or that there’s not much you can fit in but with any purse, you’ll never want to fill it up or overfill. I put my essentials and it’s just enough. The structure, quality of leather, and design is pure art.

It’s more the recent sharp decline in quality. The great bags at the beginning were super functional for mine.

Hi Dana, Polène has the most beautiful and unique bag models, I simply love them! I'm in Brazil 🇧🇷 and I just bought my first Polène bag, mine is the Numero Un Nano in chalk...beautiful, minimalist design. I had to pay high customs fees and taxes but it was worth every penny! How has the wool held up on the Numero Sept you have? I love it but wondering if the wool won’t hold up as well over time

I personally do not like their designs except for 1 bag (can't even remember the name now). Was considering getting it till I found out that it's made from calf skin. Yeah, I eat beef but not veal, so there's the difference.

I have the Numero Un Nano in the same taupe color you have. I love it! I’m thinking about adding the Dix and you kind of have me eyeing the Sept now. 😊

Thank you for sharing this is my first time looking at the POLENE bags and I’m so in love with the first moon shape black bag! I will definitely check the NY store but I also wonder if it be would more cheaper ordering it online due to NY taxes?

I like crossbody bags. I own a Louis Vuitton crossbody. But I will never spend that much on a bag again. Most of what you shared are too small for me. But I will check them out. There might be something I will want. I will never get to Paris. So will check them out online. The prices seem great to me.

You have the best review on Polene’s taupe color I found so far. Other reviews are so devided, many say it is a warm taupe tone while others assure that it is pure cool tone grey color. I am debating between sandalwood and taupe for Un nano. My plan is to wear either color all year round as I want neutral, but versatile alternative to my black bags. But it really is difficult choice situation as I like both colors equally 😀

Love all your bags. I actually live in NY but never went into the store. I plan on getting one when I visit Paris in a few months. 😊

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I only have the Numero Un nano in black but I plan on picking up the mini neuf, mini sept and the dix since I love my nano so much. I’ve had mine for almost 4 years now and wore it none stop everyday for at least a year and it still looks great. The price was also very good when I bought mine 🖤 customer service was also very good and friendly so no complaints. I have heard others did not have such good customer experience which is very unfortunate since that wasn’t my experience

Very bad quality unfortunately.. I wanted Numero Un Nano for a year and finally order last month.. First they send me a wrong bag, I send it back next day, 3weeks later they gave me refund when it was clear they won’t send the right one.. I order another, it was faulty and had few scratches, looked like some already returned it. I tried third luck and order another one and that one came completely deformed, asymmetrical.. I’m very disappointed as I wanted it so badly ..

Not good at all. You need to be really keen in your due diligence, and don’t buy on line. The problem for me has been the poor customer service in response to the faulty items. I think they are under a lot of pressure, especially since the Princess of Wales sent the bag into the stratosphere. All of that said, I’ve found two OG on eBay and they are both great - close to perfect. So that’s an option.

Yes, it has been a shock at how quickly and markedly it declined. We just have to be vigilant when purchasing.
