    This is so incredibly helpful! I did have to turn my volume allll the way up to hear you, but it was worth it. The detailed explanations of why each grip is used were very much appreciated. I also hadn't heard about the bent arm or the catching of the pole while swinging. Hopefully, this makes things easier for me going forward.

    On what planet is the handspring a beginner move?? I would even consider an extended butterfly an upper intermediate/pre-advanced move. Maybe in a couple of years later when countries are sending pole athletes to the Olympics but saying that it's a beginner move could be very discouraging to someone starting out in their pole dance journey.

  • @SuperFlyHoney

    You might be putting too much pressure on your wrist. Adjust your hand placement to distribute weight more evenly. But listen to how your body responds so you won't overdo it 🤗 Our tutorials only complement professional pole training - which is what we still highly recommend.

    I’ve heard that kicking into the handspring can cause serious injuries to the shoulder. Can you comment on this please?

  • @SuperFlyHoney

    @SuperFlyHoney

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi Sydney, kicking into handspring can indeed cause serious injuries to the shoulder. For this reason, it's best to train your core strength to lift yourself up into it with control and to do it slowly. It's also important to keep in mind the pull and push concept of the arms just like in the tutorial instead of just kicking into it 😊 Hope this helps!
