What’s the major advantages to replacing the primary and secondary rather than replacing the springs on the OEM setup ?

The primary does nothing for you but the secondary will help a good amount on a Polaris . The engine braking on a Polaris is so aggressive when running large mud tires you will lose a lot of performance. Polaris has amazing primary and for the price throwing some epi springs in the clutch will make the bike feel a lot better .

Thanks for that information. So basically it’s really only beneficial if your running larger wheels and tires from OEM setup ? If your sticking to OEM wheel and tire setup, the EFI springs would be the go to.

@@FlyinPurr yeah the springs do a pretty good job , I had a teal primary and orange secondary epi spring in this bike before and it made a big improvement. THe dalton kit I did in my sportsman was honestly not the greatest, i notice no difference at all.
Just put some 32.5 inch outlaw 2s on my 2018 Polaris sportsman XP 1000. All it has is a RVS stage 3 tune and dual Rjwc mud edition exhaust. Do you think I would benefit from doing full stm clutch’s? Trying to tire my tires like all those renegade 1000s

I would do stm secondary then do springs and weights in the stock primary. The bike is much better with that secondary because you probably know the Polaris engine brake is really strong. The qsc clutch kit I installed on a 22 sportsman S was pretty good just the engine brake does kill some power and make the machine a little less snappy.

So would you suggest I don’t get the stm primary?

@@jasona4106 it’s not worth the money in my opinion, only reason we did one in this case is the oem clutch exploded and 1100$ for a new one or 1600$ and get a stm
