@@osbornebay944 yeah I had it apart and found a broken shaft that connected the engine to transmission so I replaced it with a used one and put it together and it's driving fine, codes cleared

When i shift my 2013 polaris 850 sportsman xp into low or high it won't engage. It works in reverse and now i can't put it into park. The bell crank aluminum connector is still working but warn a bit.

Man u got problems, take it out and see. U can getba tranny on ebay sometimes for cheap.

I wasn't able to find a used transmission (I'm in Canada) I ordered a new input shaft, mine is a spline only with the damper on the engine. Any tips that would help when I split the transmission case to replace the input shaft? Thanks!

I get knocking noise like you are talking about on this video but only at idle when I rev above idle it goes away could this be my problem as you are showing 2013 550

Thats exactly what it does. Take that tranny out and tighten that bolt and locktite it. Or u may have the dampner version depends on ur year but still same issue. Fix it now before it hurts it. Its easy. Please subscribe for me ok.

Thats exactly what it does. Take that tranny out and tighten that bolt and locktite it. Or u may have the dampner version depends on ur year but still same issue. Fix it now before it hurts it. Its easy. Please subscribe for me ok.

I pulled my transmission and I took the nut loose and the coupler on the transmission seems to be stuck I can't take it off like you did in the video

It has bolts or something holding it probaly

My 2021 570 make a lot noise taking off and just riding. Is that the same noise

Yes. Take the tranny off. Its eaither the bolt holdin on the coupler or the couplers broke inside. Depends on year but its the same eaither way you do same procedure. Its a easy job. Simple. Now please subscribe ok lol. Locktight the bolt and torque to 125f lb i think it is.

@IMPORTANTVIDEOS7 2016 850 HL making sound at idle in same spot as in your video! A guy is selling it because he doesn't know much about ATVs, oil was changed regular basis and it starts right up every time but hear that sound right in that area at the begging of your vid, sounds like a slight engine knock! Could this be same issue?

Hi Mike. I went into deep water.. then the bike started stalling and making noises. I let it dry and cleaned everything now it runs fine but it doesn't move at all 😢 nothin on H, L, R.. its a 2021 850 with low hours, belt and clutch look new still

No sorry. I have one right now but u cant tell in a video. The quick way to see if urs has a problem is to just go listen to someone elses. Look on marketplacebor go to a dealer who has one and start it up.

Hey Michael does this affect all models? Like a 2016 800?

i have a 2018 sportsman that knocks real bad at idle then when you speed up it kinda goes away. it runs and drives fine. i pulled the clutch and stuff like that and it didn’t go away. i had some metal on my drain plug for my tranny. could the coupler be my issue? i’m so lost and don’t wanna take it to get fixed. i have a video of it if that helps any i can send it to you. thanks 🙃
