I have a 97 Scrambler 400 4x4. It's a 410cc now, lightened flywheel, bigger carb, clutch kit, cone pipe, and more. Die hard reliable and still rips. Really turns heads and is a sleeper that surprises everyone.

A 410 is still a 400, just like a 390 is considered a 400. I mean we're talking 10 cubic centimeters LOL. That's literally zero noticeable difference. If you want to feel like you're riding a motor 10 CC's larger than the other guys just take a number one and number two before you go riding. That released weight is actually going to be more noticeable than the irrelevant10 CC's 😁

This brings back old memories! I had a 1998 Scrambler 500 4x4 back in the day. Wish I got the 400 ring dinger instead of the 500 dumper.

dude i got a mean ass sport 400 its got a 89mm piston wiseco rings vforce reeds custom expansion chamber and silencer and hrs of machine work on cylinder and head we gpsed it at 93 we was rampin shit that wasnt even there still got it

I had a Sport 400 back in the day. After a clutch kit, full exhaust, and some new rear tires, I could beat the guys running 400 EX’s all day. Used to piss guys off when they got beat by an Automatic Polaris!🤣 A buddy of mine got the 500 Scrambler and thought he was going to beat me. Wrong!!😎

Antiquated to today’s standards, but still kickass. I grew up with Polaris atvs, at least dozen throughout the years, the 90s thru mid 2000s are just reliable tanks , 4 or 2 strokes . Parts are insanely cheap on flEbay these days!
