Looking good ! Yes you can grind down the tabs. Just use a multi tool or file. I thought quad logic was plug and play, I was not expecting all that pre work !

Depends on the tab. Not all the tabs are the same height. You will have to use your own discretion when grinding down.
Are they the same light and the high lifter
