    The odd splines on the clutch are referred to as Boss splines. Also just my findings from over the years, just go straight to heat. About 10-15 seconds a screw with the blue loctite does the trick every time. Just a regular torx wrench/ratchet, after the heat. I am no clutch guru, just sharing what has worked for me. Keep up the videos, fully enjoying them as I wait for snow up on the hill/old forge!

    Great and helpful. Do you remember if your primary was off balance when you sent it away. Some say you don't need to balance if your changing the cover on the p85

    Im good at understanding the clutches and telling you how they feel but as far as explaining what or how they work.... past my pay grade hahahah. Suspension video coming soon though!

    Hey Mike I feel some hostility in your comment and I am unsure why. If It was my R&D and my set ups I could care less who I tell but they aren't mine so its not right for me to give them out.     @@JESSEJAMES322 Didn't mean any offense, I'm running a Yamaha sidewinder with full bolt ons from Tubro Dynamics. Everything was explained to me for my initial set up and I could play from there. R and D is what manufacturers do, just my two cents

    Might want to use a bit of plastic pipe over the coarse threads on the rod while compressing the primary …rod threads are sharp and can cut / burr the washer in the cover

    You should always use heat to loosen lock-tite bolts or you may damage the threads!

    Awesome content. All of this is doable with a little mechanical ability. I thought it would be super complicated. Do they send torque specs with this stuff or is everything 3 ugga duggas lol

    I’m a ugga dugga type guy but primary torque is 80 foot pounds and the secondary I believe is 30. Don’t hold me too that

    I have a 2022 indy sp with stock gas shocks dual 6 inch carbides 2 studs per window its killing my arms in the stutter bumps would softening front springs help

    Ive been having serious trouble getting my primary clutch off my 2020 assault 800. Even bent my puller. Any tips?

    I would try to heat the hell out of it with a new puller. SOme may say the water trick. Flip the sled on its side. take the bolt out. wrap the treads in tefflon tape. fill the bolt hole with water and put the bolt back in. ive never tried it but some say it works wonders

    all around. This clutch kit was designed to improve all, not just one task. I was very pleased with it this year. Ran great top end and i never had a corner to corner issue.
