Love it or hate it, the best thing about this, is Polaris didn’t hesitate to put their own twist on this cover. This is fucking phenomenal, and it’s a live recording. Hats off Polaris, Plini and Escimo Joe.

Wow, I’ve never heard Jamie use vocals like those in the first verse, that’s pretty awesome. Also, Jake’s vocals are getting better and better and I hope they utilise him more and more. This was an awesome cover.

Brendo - personally don’t think it is, but no worries at all. Not sure if you’ve seen them live but they nearly broke our hometown venue in the states. Dude just has a strong control in and out of the studio that not a lot of vocalists in this genre have. Definitely god tier quality. Pumped to see what their 3rd record sounds like.

Definitely agree, one of the best new metal core vocalists that I've seen in the last few years. Amazing tone and range. Their live performances sound very similar to the studio version. Imo Jeremy mckinnon is second to none and this dude is on his way to being that good. Polaris has became my favorite band in the last year

It's 2011, I'm working my first job. Triple M on the stereo. Black Fingernails Red Wine plays. It's always 1pm. It's time for lunch. This song has a Pavlovian effect on me still all these years later.

Holy shit, I just discovered this through Spotify the other day and dead on thought this was an actual studio production with 100 takes on each track. Never would I have thought this was actually a recorded live performence! Aside from the whole band being absolutely on point with their game, the mix on this is phenomenal!

honestly I'm not a big hardcore/heavy metal fan, but this was really well-done and a very unapologetic and unique take on the song. 10/10!

This is how to make a perfect cover version of a song, making it YOURS in YOUR style whilst retaining what made the original iconic and paying respects to it!

Honestly, gave me chills.

I've been a triple J listener for 10+ yrs and this is hands down my favourite like a version of all time, it became my most listened to song that year and really kick started my love for Polaris. I was a huge Eskimo Joe fan in the day, but this cover is every bit as good as the original. It still gives me goosebumps sometimes! Thanks guys for covering this 🤘

I could listen to those guitars covering any song and it would never get old

When it first started I was thinking "yeah it's alright", but then it really came alive during the chorus!

I’ve listened to this about 30 times in a row and naturally my neighbours have with me too 🤟

4:10-4:17 what a drummer! This entire spin in this song is rad. Stand out from Jamie and Jake on the vocals. Honestly it gave me goosebumps and that shit is hard to do. Awesome job guys!

I am now officially a Polaris Fan. Very rarely do we see such a perfect pick of track and interpretation. Seamed it into the artists style like its not trying be be anything else but a homage, a glorious rendition. But fucking original. errr, the lead guitar that shreds is just one of their mates filling in. All cool and normal. How good!
