That does bring up an interesting point. Lorna got her powers from her father, and I could buy Pietro getting his speed from his mother's side, but how did Wanda become a sorceress in this timeline?

I liked how the show was called Wolverine and the X-men. Wolverine was never much of a team player let alone a leader.

It was more of him building up to it as the series progressed. In the beginning he was very brash, not thinking ahead and not for the team. But during the end he had to learn to gain temperance from the wisdom of Charles from the future that changed him for the better. Although he still is Wolverine so not too much change 😅

It was always far better when Wanda and Pietro were mutants. I figured the only reason they were switched was solely so the MCU could use them in the Avengers. I hope they retcon in the movies that the only reason the twins could survive the experiments on them was *because* they were mutants to begin with, and all the experimentation did was activate their X-genes.

Long run I'm hoping this whole Multiverse saga thing results in a sort of cosmic retcon of the whole universe, a sort of soft reboot the rewrites a lot of the elements and history of the mcu, including making it so the Mutants/X-Men were always there and that the Maximoff twins are Magneto's children

This show deserved more seasons. Hope they bring it back like X-men '97. Magneto took Rouge from Gambit so he pulled a move on Polaris. Shouldn't have broken her heart. Seriously she & Scarlett are GORGEOUS.

This version of Polaris is similar to Evolution where Wanda and Pietro are raised by Magneto. In the original comics, she’s originally part of the X-Men and is estranged from her father and half-siblings.

Lorna was so soft and meek in this compared the comics.

Such a great representation of Polaris.

I LOVE her personality!! She's basically Fluttershy. ❤

But not Wolverine and the X-Men Series because he never met Rogue before nor she never met Gambit before. If they are planning to make Wolverine and the X-Men Season 2, it would be possible for seeing Gambit encounter Rogue.

Yeah, at one point in the past I found most of Spider-Man's supporting cast as more developed and nuanced than Superheroes/antiheroes with their own titles. Spotlights on characters like Aunt May of the Spectacular version of Liz Allen would be a welcome addition to this series.

All of Magneto's kids suffer with mental disorders. I like how the cartoon didn't scream it in our face. But Polaris has Bi-polar disorder thats why shes treated with kid gloves and magneto is adamant about not upsetting her. Pietro has ADHD, thus hes all over the place and self centered. Wanda has dis-associative tendencies and can fall into deep depressions.

was not a fan of her portrayal in this way to meek and quiet basically treated as a green colored swap of scarlet witch polaris is fericiously independent and while younger then the twins is around the same age as gambit and rogue etc......also she is not particular close with the twins like that although historically she was probably closer to quicksilver then the scarlet witch.....also she has much better looks in the comics then this to...never liked the mini scarlet witch look.

I don't fully understand Polaris character. Is she a mutant or a witch like Scarlet Witch/Wanda is in the MCU? They dress exactly alike with the headpiece too.

Yup. She's a mutant. Originally, Scarlett Witch was a mutant whose power was to disrupt probability fields. Nothing like how She's depicted these days. Source material from the early days of comic books and the characters has kinda gone out the window.
