I was looking on forums because I wanna buy one. I got a 250ex and people on the forums say that the fmf pipe will hurt the performance of it. Not sure I wanna believe it

Pretty neat. Don't have radiator, water pump seals less maintenance than the 400. Prolly a bt better on fuel consumption.

Came off of one of the parts 4 wheeler's we own, one of the parts 4 wheeler's used to run at one time or other and the other doesn't even have a engine in it

Was it any faster?

I have a 2003 a yellow one what year is this one

Did it make it go faster ?

I cannot find a pipe for these anywhere…

I know it looks cool but I would hate to ride that bow-legged machine without the heat shield on that header. Hot as hell next to your leg.

I just picked up a 2001 trailblazer...are they faster than a 4 stroke 250? I haven't gotten mine running yet and was curious

@@jaayv1771...I finally got it to run...had to spray the carburetor to do it...compression is low but I was able to ride it and it was pretty quick...I can get it to start back up after I ride it without spraying the carb but if I let it sit 10 minutes I have to spray it get it to run...

Have you rebuilt the top end on yours? Curious as to what brand is the best and if I can go to a bigger piston with the stock cylinder just being bored or do I have to get a new cylinder as well

@@masonhoward2099 you'll have to rebore the cylinder and get a bigger piston, the best piston out there on the market is Wiseco Pistons

Yes sir that price is worth it and that's not the stock exhaust that's aftermarket

Yes it adds a lot more power to the machine it makes a lot more different in sound and has a lot more ping ping in it

You can put a clutch kit on it and re jet it to get more power.

You can increase the rear sprocket size BUT this will lower your top speed by 5-10 mph depending on sprocket size

I changed to a stiffer spring on the clutch so it would do wheelies! mines a 98 trail boss 250

are you still able to use the pull start?

Twin Snowmobile Engine is the best sounding 2 stroke I have a Yamaha Raptor 660r with a Yamaha Vmax 600 twin snowmobile engine a friend has a Polaris Scrambler with a Polaris Indy 700 twin snowmobile engine she's freaking wicked

Had a 2003 honda trx250 Against my daughters 2005 trailblazer 250 Off the line I had it up until 3rd gear she was beside me. Throttle mashed 4th gear she was ahead 5th gear I was catching up and finally passing her. Given I weigh 110 lbs more then her I was surprised
