Polar bears cant really afford the injuries after the fight with grizzly, so its just not worth it. But in a fight to death where both bears go full power, polar bear wins

Polar bear’s have to deal with Oxen, Walruses, Elephant seals, Wolverines, grizzly’s that live up North, and wolves. Do your research before making such big claims and he’s besides with Polar bears they can’t eat anything BUT meat so if they fail at hunting they die and not to mention how tough life is being in the Arctic circle in general it makes a Polar bear’s life quite hard. Considering that their the only solely meat eating bear on earth it makes them the only bear’s that will ACTIVELY hunt humans, so to think that their softer than Grizzly’s is ridiculous

I agree. It has to do with the environment. If both meet in Alaska then yes Grizzlies have an advantage, but if they were to meet somewhere more isolated, mainly Ice and snow surrounded by cold water them Polars have the advantage.

Diet doesn't nessicarily have anything to do with it There are plenty of prey animals that are disaterious to go against Take a moose for example. A more "aggressive" animal ≠ stronger either. In this case you got to take in consideration their actual physical attributes. That said grizzly bears are just generally more built when it comes to fighting/going against creatures more their size. Meanwhile while yes polar bears are very hostile and wouldn't hesitate to put you into the afterlife if you think about it, most their prey are creatures that generally can't put up much of a fight up again at it. Think about it. There's no "grappling" going on when it comes to snacking down on a seal. For the larger prey they go against to they still don't fight the same way a grizzly has to. This also shows with how surprisingly small their claws are. Yeah those claws WILL work on the prey they chase after but against a grizzly? That's not going to really cut it. They still have their bite too of course but grizzly bears are very tanky. It would be a good long grapple back and forth before the polar bear would be able to BITE down on the grizzly and i can assure you the grizzly isnt going to just stand there and let it. The thing is too polar bears simply just don't have much stamina when it comes to being on land. They are evolved to take down mostly sea creatures and to deal with a cold environment where they won't overheat. (icy water) I don't think the grizzly would immediately dominate a polar bear by any means but i also don't see many situations where a polar can fight on long enough to murk a grizzly

@@hehe-tr5zi This!!! I find many people always praising the "big bads" like lions, wolves, tigers etc but rarely do I ever see that same passion put forth for prey animals. Maybe it could partly just be the fact you don't see apex predators getting "hunted" as often and as humans we will tend to instinctively try and side with something less likely to die? Though this is just a huge guess I have nothing like reasearch to back it. I definitely am not exempt from this sadly, I've always just found more intrest in apexs predators personally, but I still try my best to be /fair/ when comparing two creatures. Lions for example, people give wayyy too much credit. Pack/herd animals in general actually tend to be either overlooked or overpraised 😂 Likely cause it is pretty hard to analyze an animal by itself when they are so commonly known for their skills as a pack/herd rather than by itself. Went on a bit of a tangent there but its definitely a relief to know some people out there realize meat eater ≠ stronger

The biggest thing that people overlook in this matchup is the willingness to fight to the death. If it was a real scenario, the Polar bear is typically a loner, therefore if it just sustains an injury it is likely to retreat out of pure survival instincts. Whereas the grizzly a lot of times for them establishing dominance is more important than living. Grizzlies will fight with everything they got.

Though to give the benefits of the doubt to the other end, it wouldn't be much of a fight anylasis if we just went "well polar bear wouldn't fight grizzly realistically... therefore grizzly wins" This rule generally applies to other fight matchups I've (personally) seen too, especially prey vrs predators. Like yeah, clearly the prey /would/ want to more focus on fleeing. I like to think the point in these debates though is to assess both creatures for their abilities and judge the fight more on that then say "x animal is very flighty and wouldn't risk a battle" Yk?

Im using the grizzly bear for this as its my favorite Out of these two Speed easily goes to the grizzly it can run at 56 km/h faster than any human ever, bear gets Experience its been hunting for its entire life, easily gets stamina they can run for hours. The grizzly easily gets abilities and hacks grizzlies have massive claws and a bite force stronger than a tiger. The grizzly destroys you in Your prime negative difficulty they tank shotgun blasts and only Get pissed of they kill moose and back in the 1800 people feared them as much as armed people. You would need a minigun or bazooka to stand a chance and Even then it might win with how fast it is and how hard its gonna be to hit

Personally, the Polar Bear wins high difficulty. Its main drawback is its stamina and energy levels. It would try and end the fight as quickly as possible to conserve it for hunting and mating rights.

It's an unfair fight. Many people think that Liger being hybrid of lion and tiger and bigger makes it a very strong animal which is completely wrong. Liger is actually weaker than both lion and tiger and would die if left in the wild. Liger vs Sun bear would actually be a more fair fight.
