Though not canon as Pokemon Masters EX is its own canon entirely, there Hilbert (who's the canon protag there) finally reunites with N and there it was also confirmed that Hilbert has been searching for N.

Hilda/Hilbert were supposedly gonna appear in the PWT with the team you had when beating the game, but Game Freak didn't pull the trigger.

If they were gonna have the same stats and moves as your ingame team, then it’d be an easy fight. If GF had to give a “competitive” moveset for each individual pokemon you could have used in the story, then it’d be a lot of work.

I think the main reason they stopped doing proper sequels is cause of sales, Pokemon black 2 and white 2 sold the same as emerald, platinum, and silver. (Basically initial games sell really well, while the updated remake does well but not as much) Since the game got treated the exact same as an updated remake, despite it being a proper sequel. I’m guessing they decided that it wasn’t worth the effort to make a sequel, when it’ll basically be treated like an updated remake. Worst part is that I’m pretty sure X and Y were going to have sequel like games, only for the sales numbers to roll in and have them be cancelled 😭

Like bro Charon even has the tie from the uniform I'm surprised he didn't come back in the blueberry DLC😂

I agree, other's will say Gen 4 was peak, but Gen 5 has the best story that spans across literal years and each character has a purpose, backstory, etc. To me, it feels like the most time and care went into it. Then Gen 6 came out and it was fun, but they did not feel the same and I was still younger when they came out and I always preferred the 2d sprites rather than 3d.

favorite one is sending pokemon from a mod to real game and naming them goofy names like “sacrifice” because i didn’t know if they’d survive the trip through bank

The more I hear about B/W and B2/W2 the more I am convinced they were the absolute height of handheld Pokemon games.

From what I read and searched up on, one of the members of gamefreak worked on gen 5 and HGSS. Then after tbat they left :/ they were the ones who brought all the cool ideas and made the games push to their limits in terms of content.

I love the fact that bianca's team all have return. And cheren has a pretty balanced team not gonna lie.

I was genuinely disappointed that cheren wasn't the final boss of BB. Like the point of a secret boss is the secrets. Plus we'd all go nuts!!

N's Pokemon are also all at max friendship immediately upon catching them, proof that even though they were with him for a short time he was kind to all of them.

N's Darmanitan is level 35 in an Area where you will be about 10 levels lower than it. Found that out the Hard way during a Nuzlocke

Cheren is NOT high enough level for Blueberry Academy, he’s gonna get cooked 💀

It's such a shame that Hilbert and Hilda never appeared again. So far, Red is the only reoccuring protagonist who acts like a special boss. If anyone else deserves that status, it'd be Hilbert or Hilda, just due to the impact they had on Unova

Hilda and Hilbert were actually planned for post game like Red in GSC/HGSS, but were cut, you can even find their sprites in game, but no Pokemon teams, so they were scrapped fairly early, unlike say Professor Oak that does have a full team if you datamined RBGY, who was also meant as a post game final boss.

after gen V, the only game I've played that I felt made a connection with me in any similar way was Sun and Moon, the cutscenes do make repeat playthroughs a pain, but the story and characters is excellent.

I still feel that ultra sun/moon should have had you been from the ultra worm hole with a new story

Gen 5 is really an underrated and overhated gem. This game did not deserve all the hate it got at release.

Pokemon Gen 5 needs more recognition. Gamefreak dropped a lot of the unique Gen 5 touches because the sales did not reflect the popularity, but it is still the most beloved generation by most Pokemon Video Game enthusiasts.

N is genuinely the coolest character that pokemon has come up with. I havent played BW in probably a decade now, i cant even remember half of N's story but i still think to this day he is the best character pokemon has come up with. The BW games were soooo good

The reason for the change is because Pokemon black and white and black and white 2 where made by the original game freak dev team after that most of them we replaced if I remember right
