What are your thoughts on the current 151 market?

I love it , this will teach the scalpers a lesson .its one think to flip and make money , but some of those guys are just plain greedy . the market for 151 is as stable as it can be for now until the re-print

Japan gdp is around $4.2 trillion a year. Not sure printing Pokémon cards is going to impact much to be honest. It’s a big market for sure at a few $billion a year but national economics dwarf even big corporations.

Oh yea, Pokemon is the the butter on their bread. Also Pokemon straight up said that if the scalping and reselling keeps on they will print to demand. And besides that why would you pay 30$ shipping a product that only has value in your country because another country might want it? Just buy what's hot here, English mf. After the reprint .

I dig the channel... and the beard, haha! I'm curious... Since you published this video 10 days ago, do you have any updated thoughts with more info on the situation?!?

Thank you! I did see just recently there were more boxes showing up in Pokemon Centers in Japan with the removing the shrink wrap. It’s still early May and I still think there is more coming. I could definitely be wrong and I will admit it if I am but still some time left before we know for sure.

Liked and subscribed 👊😎 If you git a moment id also like your short take on wether you think buying Brilliant Stars and Lost Origin singles right now would be a good move to snowball into the next big set that comes out. Im thinking Paradise Dragona or whatever it will be called in English, also English 151 after reprint.

Thank you that means a lot! I did touch on those a bit in some other videos but I can make a new one specifically talking about singles. In short though for Brilliant Stars I’m focusing on the Charizard V 154. I currently have 2 in a PSA 10 and I think in a 10 worse case scenario it will be a $500 card. The artwork is too good. As for LO I have the Giratina in a 10 as well but because it’s so expensive focusing on the other singles would be smart. Let me know if you want a dedicated video on this.

That can be smart if you’re getting them for good prices. I see some of them at and equal to MSRP which is always nice. Specially when you are holding long term.

IMO it was a reprint, its not to say there wont be another wave so more reprinted and prices dropping again. But literally here in the UK websites had stock in, all over ebay boxes available, people posting pictures from Japanese shops and the pokemon centre of boxes for sale. Why would people hoard stock when the price was so high before all this, who is 'they' when people are referring to the ones who have offloaded all there inventory before the reprint happens. Is there like 10 mass sellers who had all this stock hidden away and managed to ship it all around the world and to small sellers etc 😅. Just my opinion
