S&V is extremely slept on 💤 Temporal is my favorite main set so far. I’d say Paradox is my next favorite. So far though S&V has been amazing.

Actually thought of this, this morning to be exact, how great S&V actually is so far, especially the art works…Hated it just out of reflex in the beginning😂 Remember S&S gave us Rebel Clash, Darkness Ablaze, etc. at the beginning…it wasn until Chilling Reign that we got good/great sets…So S&V is way ahead of S&S right now…

@@HungTVo23 for me I’d say for main sets it goes..Temporal, Paradox, Obsidian, Twilight, Paldea, S&V Base. If we include special sets 151 is first for me and I’d put paldean fates between Obsidian and Twilight.

Im stoked for dragons paradise and team rocket. These 2 recent sets didnt quite do it for me and thats ok because ill just buy a booster box or 2 and see if anyone wants it in a few years

I actually think it would be great if there was one or two sets they don’t reprint. Every generation seems to have a set like that. Flashfire, Team Up, Rebel Clash etc,.

interesting points. regarding artwork and how these cards are perceived as valuable - surely this is highly subjective based on on what people think is “good” or “bad”. i can understand why popular pokemon characters will be sought after and also how playable cards will be popular. the “quality” of the artwork is dependent on what an individual likes. i’m also interested to know whether the actual art is graphic design generated or actually done in a traditional method. it’s easy now to come up with generated images. would this not devalue the art in the first place?

Hey Kai, I'm in Aus so we don't have access to the pokemon center, yet! It's coming though. I just hunt around for sales and the cheapest!

I recently won a free twilight masquerade booster box, I think I’ll keep it sealed, could be a bit of a sleeper set later on.

I think there’s an argument to be made that 3 SV Sets are objectively better than any set from the first half of SWSH. SWSH Base, Darkness, Rebel, Vivid, Battle Styles, Shjning Fates, Champions Path - I would say Paldea Evolved, Temporal and Twilight are all better sets than any of them. Albeit maybe not for the specific chase card, and it’s not always fair to make a comparison between a holiday set and a standard set - but I think the SV Era has been hugely under appreciated at this stage. Love the content mate, can’t wait for the 20k Subs mark!

I think early on in SV collectors and investors had high expectations, the next evolving skies or whatever and just wrote the early sets off as trash. Singles too, but now we're starting to see some cards (magikarp, groudon etc) creep up in value, perhaps as some buyers are getting priced out of the current SWSH alt art range. People seem to focus on one or two chase cards in a set then don't even bother with other art rares until much later once the dust has settled, so I think that's when there are opportunities to buy undervalued singles and sets as an investor, spotting beautiful cards before interest eventually gathers
