I think a select few sets from Scarlet and violet will end up being really good, and 151 will be insane like Evolving skies. I think S&V will do well because they just became the 2nd best selling video games in Pokémon series.

you should put conditional formating on the column for current marketing price so that it will automatically change the colour of each cell thats over $200 so that its clear to see the ones you can sell at a glance

It's paldea evolved, it's not even something that can be argued at this point it has the most value in terms of pulls than any other S&V set because of magikarp, tyranitar and iono.

I came into Pokémon with Celebrations and jumped into Sword and Shield. Fusion Strike and Chilling Reign were crapped on constantly, and the booster boxes were $80 all over the place. I have a booster box of each Scarlet and Violet set and have tuned out the noise.

yes, this is exactly the point. people like to poo-poo on the current stuff, and they are usually the same people screaming how they didn't buy it when it was cheap

Booster bundle sealed case once per 3 months or 1 box per month, and what box do I buy paldean fates for 280, shrouded fable 250, 151 reprint went for 310 but its sold for now... this is going to be my first pokemon investment and I really need to know which bundle is best to buy

this is why I say to buy the most current set... it takes all the guesswork and questioning out of it.

You’re an entrepreneur. Your mindset is very different from many who just look for a job that pays them the most for what they can get away with. It’s very different mind sets. Hustlers are hustlers but some just don’t want to put work in this but will put work into something else.

i would recomend you add some dates by years and stuff. I mean if you went into swsh when it as on the up you made like 50% gains in 1month and if you are buying surrent sets you need to wait 2-3-4 years. In that time many things could happen to an average person and if you are not like wealthy i can see you needing to sell some boxes under 200. I menan the analisis is ok but give some timetable next to it aswell. For a new commer it seems so easy and they don t see you had to hold some boxes for 7+ years and for some it even takes 4 years to pass 200$ mark.

I don't really see pokemon as a retirement investment, like I'm not out here planning to spend money when I'm 75 if I even live that long my god for all I know I could get trampled by a herd of escaped circus elephants tomorrow! I'm definitely more about short term gains, I generally give any one investment item 3 - 4 years to appreciate in value and then it's gone, some things pay off a lot, some pay off a little, some things don't pay off at all but I can still sell them for at least what I paid so I break even. I generally make enough money to fund my next investments, and I have a little more each time. I personally wouldn't recommend buying each new booster box, obviously the popularity of the set will dictate how well it performs as an investment item so I prefer to hold out for popular sets rather than buying everything, like I'm skipping a lot of S&V sets altogether like twilight masquerade, it aint it and it aint ever gonna be. I think it's a better idea to skip mediocre sets and wait for the next big thing.

The problem with this thinking is that you actually have no idea which set is going to take off. Team Up is the best example - no one liked it. No one loved Chilling Reign or Fusion Strike when they came out either...

@@ThePokeOffice I mean I get that, and I agree that every set DOES have potential, but when you are presented with a set like twilight masquerade which basically has no heavy hitters, and heavily features a very unpopular pokemon (ogerpon) it's a safe bet to assume it's not gonna turn into an ultra mega popular set in the future. And if you don't have that much money to spend on investments it's just a better idea to wait for something that's actually popular, I mean for all we know the next evolving skies is around the corner and imagine if you wasted $150 on a twilight masqerade box when you could have spent that on the next evolving skies like nah I'd be salty AF.

Third. Pokémon investing is easy because you guide us through it. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been offered a complete base set for £350. They’re all well played cards. Would it be worth buying and then getting the while set PSA graded? I’ve also been offered a full jungle set for £250 and fossils set for £250 both heavily played.

Most people who collect are NOT able to spend 120 dollars 75% of them I would say don't have spending like that so could you possibly start making videos that specifically talk of literally ANY other product that's under 60 dollars . booster boxes are the best investment tho in my opinion, so i'm talking about what I'm currently doing. You could easily use this same strategy for sleeved packs or etb's as well - it'd be the exact same process.
