I’m still happy for him, and it’s a good video, but friendship mechanics are way too busted to be hardcore, and we already knew that from previous games.

@@emilysmith2965 i think it adds an even more chaotic option to hardcore nuzlockes, and might introduce more "strategies" of people doing things they wouldn't normally because there's a chance the pokemon might save them from the bad play.

The friendship mechanic seems OP as hell, and on top of that this seems much harder then I remember, watching nuzlockes on this will be wild

@@emilysmith2965 Well, you can't really turn it of, the pokemon gain friendship by just walking and leveling up :/ Waiting for the modding community to change atleast most perks of friendship

I mean Bronzor can either have Heatproof or Levitate so the abillity is good for the team no matter what since fire is also a major weakness.

i think heatproof is also good but levitate is an immunity which is better than a resistance but also he can use empoleon on fire types but he has nothing on ground types as empoleon cant resist rock

To be fair, I'll take no damage from Ground over neutral from Fire given just how rare Fire 'mons are in Sinnoh.

I beat Cynthia with 2 Pokémon that weren’t even level 60, and my highest was 64. The friendship in this game is ridiculously op and you should be able to turn it off

Bug/Steel is very good typing. It’s nice to know that Wormadam isn’t just useless

the game isn't even out for me and you already have an entire video done on it, your dedication is insane I love it

I agree on the artstyle, it's cute. But I strongly dislike the friendship mechanic they implemented. Makes the games yet another bit easier :/

Not a lot of hardcore nuzlocker actually use it in fact I m surprised that he used it at all I guaranty you he would have lost this run if he didn't.

@@andresquintero8833 yeah pretending that you can just make chibi models in 3d and it’ll look the same is comical. These don’t look the same because they’re rendered in hd but have no textures that the previous shading used to bring. This feels just as bad as when they first transitioned to 3d models for a whole different reason.

@@whynot5486 it allows ypu Pokemon to survive on one HP if taken s big hit, get critz more often and dodge attacks even if their 100% accurate. And a lot of nuzlocker doubt use it because it make the game alittle to easy idk why he used it.

I would've gone for a Scizor early on, because of how good it is. I actually had one in my first Brilliant Diamond playthrough. She was good, even though I stupidly tried to use her to solo the ace Lucario in the fighting gym and got her taken out in one hit.

This would be the most difficult Pokémon game if the friendship mechanic wasn’t merged with affection. Anime plot armor saved this run honestly. Still was fun to watch though! Maybe next run of BDSP use the medicine herbs to keep friendship down so no anime plot armor. Makes the game a genuine challenge.

5:42 sorry but as a gen 4 nerd you could get this as soon as you get surf by going to the place where you get flamethrower. Outside there is grass where u can find the magnets

Anyone else notice that catch rates may have been butchered? I feel like it’s impossible to catch any and all Pokémon throughout the game. I burn through poke balls more in this game than ever before
