Base Nuzlocke Rules:
-Nuzlocke doesn't begin until pokeballs are received
-Catch the first Pokemon in a route
-A Pokemon that faints is gone
-Pokemon must be nicknamed
-Play on set
Flexible Extra rules
Duplicates clause: If your first encounter is a pokemon you already own, you may search again. This counts only for that Pokemon and not it's entire evolution line.
Shiny clause: If you encounter a shiny you are allowed to catch and use it even if it's not your first encounter in a area.
Static encounters: Separate from wild encounters. If there's more than 1 static encounter in a route, pick 1
Gift/Eggs: They're freebies, go nuts. Up to the player as to how many freebies they're willing to take
Safari zone: Can only catch as many Pokemon that're equal to the amount of badges one has (Can catch a total of 8) Due to how Safari zone mechanics work, the Pokemon you see and are trying to catch is your encounter, even if it runs away. No other Pokemon shall be considered your encounter until you have caught the previous one.
Healing clause: You may heal a mon in battle however, that pokemon is counted as dead by the end of the battle. Can only be done once per mon.
Level Clause: No being a level higher than the next gym leader you have to fight next. If a pokemon is, then you can't use it until next gym badge is obtained
Revival clause: (1) If you obtain a Max revive, you may use it to revive a fallen mon. (2) 6 revives(found not bought) are also equal to 1 max revive.
Game Over clause: If you wipe out and you still have Pokemon in your PC you are allowed to keep playing.
Run it back Clause: (Up to the player) If a player finds their luck in a boss battle to be unbelievably shitty, they are allowed 1 retry with no death related reprocussions.
Double/Triple battle clause: These are going on a Win/Lose system. If you win you win and if you lose you lose. You have two chances to win said battle and any deaths taking place during it are unofficial.
Multi battle clause: These don't count at all. Your partner is usually dead weight and on some instances can end up hurting your pokemon as well.
