These videos are such a breath of fresh air from the usual obnoxious Pokémon content that get recommended to me. You inspired me to get back and finish my Emerald Japanese playthrough. I even managed to do some of the legendary events that I never did as a kid. Cheers!

I was so happy I finally found my dream shiny I swear I feel like I won in life I still can’t believe he’s here 😭 so yeah that’s what I’ve been doing lately leveling him up and collecting ribbons on him, “The Legend” ribbon fits him really well ^^ so yeah I’m glad you’re still going and hopefully I won’t be far behind, can’t wait to see your Larvitar EV training vid, take good care of yourself now okay

@@nostalgicnighthawk Right now I'm breeding for mons to use in the Battle Frontier. I'm trying to use a Baton Pass Scizor strat into Tyranitar. I'm thinking of breeding a Starmie soon since my team is pretty vulnerable to water

@@nostalgicnighthawk I start with Scizor (the only attacking move he has is steel wing but i may try Silver Wind later on) setting up with swords dance and agility and then baton pass over to Tyranitar or thick club Marowak. Tyranitar knows dragon dance in case Scizor gets taken out by a fire type move first turn. My goal is to set up and sweep. im noticing a big problem with stronger water types right now though and I'm thinking Marowak may get replaced with a Starmie soon. I would probably prioritize agility over attack boosting baton pass if i made that swap

thanks for watching! I have looked into it a bit. It looks right down my alley for yugioh. GOAT is also a cool option. I have a discord where we would play some of those formats however I never really played enough. Id give it another shot soon but my time is wrapped up in pokemon right now haha

Dang! Was so hyped for Aggron Goodluck with your Tyranitar and goodluck dealing with those pesky water types with ice moves!! I recently finished breeding and EV’ing a full team of 3 on my Pearl cartridge, featuring a Milotic. The Battle Tower AI and Pokémon Battle Revolution AI love lowering Milo’s accuracy and taking advantage of statuses. Fast electric types for days. I’m having really good luck in singles with Skarmory lead and physical pivot Flygon 🤩 Best of luck to your team too!!

I am not giving up on aggron, I think i need to build a different set with it and train it in Special Defense so it can live haha. Sounds fun in Pearl! Skarmory is a pretty great pokemon for this type of challenge. Ive been reading up on some pokemon such as that one!

@@nostalgicnighthawk skarmory is a drug and I’m currently addicted 🙃 Yes SPDEF and HP focus on Aggron so you can consistently tank a special hit will be nice! Also you could breed for rockhead now technically since we found out sturdy is buns until Gen 5 😭

@@hibbs1712 yea fact XD, study is still OK in a sense because the AIs sometimes love to abuse the 1 hit KO moves. But rock head be good for Double edge!

Dusclops is a BOSS. I was thinking ice beam, crunch, flamethrower and thunderbolt. I would like a rock move but those are physical so it might not be too good with the build i am doing! We will see tho

Starmie is a beast from what I have been reading. The only issue with Starmie is I dont love that pokemon too much compared to others. I want to first try and get these gold medals with my favorites. Starmie is def a really strong pokemon for the battle frontier!

Tyranitar is one of my fav pokemons and i wish u the best with that! please make a video about ev trainnning and also IVS! like a guide or tutorial, would be awesome and helpful for all the players that want to do that on Emerald maybe I'm gonna start a new game on the emerald version. now I'm playing hackroms but I wanna try emerald again

Hi! I just became a fan of yours man. I'm sorry if you already said this but, may I ask how many resets it took you to get that beautiful, beauuutiful shiny Rayquaza? And how hard was it for you? Was it from Emerald or another game and transfer?

i try to not keep track of the resets because it mentally messes with me (if that makes sense). However it took like 3 months. Spent about 5-10 hours each week. Overall was a quick hunt compared to my other soft resets! It wasnt hard because i wanted it so bad! My favorite pokemon and shiny! Caught it in sapphire and i transferred to fire red.

I can only imagine you 5 to 10hrs a week turning on and off on and off on and off that GBA SP without playing any further Pokémon UNTIL you got that beautiful shiny. And it's your favorite too, makes sense, it is a great choice. I'm more biased with childhood me so my favorites are shiny Psyduck and Gold Magikarp ✨. Shiny Charizard and Rayquaza are tied although RayRay obviously has an edge, and Absol for my sister. Thank you for your vids, make me feel happy and young again. Also thank you for the response 🙏🏻. You inspired me to go ahead and try shiny hunting too, (I dunno if that's how you say it but I'm going with it xD maybe it means something else).

@@robertwolfgan It was a grinnnd haha. I have patience however other people are even more patient with the amount of shinies they hunt. I am still worn out from my shiny eevee like a year or 2 ago. Love shadow charizard too. so COOL. Thank you for enjoying the vids! I try to respond to every comment. Its hard and sometimes I dont get notifications for a few! Hope you enjoy the hunt. Just keep it consistent and be patient. It will shine eventually. That is how you say it haha.

Swampert is another option to consider, good synergy with Salamence with mixed offences

This video inspired me to dust off the games and build a platinum team for the tower there. Learning about egg moves since I was a toxicroak with fake out which has to be bred with Hariyama that already knows it 🥴 team so far will be toxicroak/empoleon lead with a third I haven't yet decided on. Thinking of a flying type/levitate for pesky ground moves but who knows. Glad to see the channels alive and well

I cannot confirm and i didnt check if anyone looked into the coding but I would think the computers have some advantage. I think it makes sense to make it more challenging but again I dont have proof!

Well with pokemon games its always the same , after all accomplishment people go to next game and so on , restart then years later
