The problem with Ghestis in the anime is that he didn't try to use Kyruem to freeze over the entire world like he tried to in the games

And One of Lysanders Scientists attempted to repeat his original plan but with all the cells and tried to kill Ash, Serena and Bonnie. Lysander is also responsible for convincing his 5 scientists to turn bad.

Almost certain Hunter Jay was designed after the main character of Pokemon Colosseum. She had a device on her arm, a very similar face mask, same hair color and almost same hair style, and her main Pokemon was a Salamence (The very first thing you do in XD is fight a Metagross with a Salamence, which is the sequel to coloseeum)

Giovanni is my fave villain! I’ve been cosplaying as him for over 10 years at conventions ^^ Team Rocket are the best!

Kodai almost killed zorua but he actually managed to pretty much kill Mima ( zoroark) he did so much damage to her that she passed out I'm just happy the movie had a happy ending where Celebi revived Mima but yeah he is One True Villain

Dang, Colress is more evil in the anime than in the games? I’m playing through Black 2 right now, and in the Alola games he seems like a good guy.

Yeah, Colress in the games is a far more morally-grey-turned-good scientist who only wants to find the true power of Pokemon (which he ultimately succeeds by being defeated by the player in B2W2 and implied to be integral in the research of Megas in XY) and is instrumental in taking down Rainbow Rocket. It's really dissapointing that the anime reduces him to generically evil scientist guy, cause he's easily one of the coolest characters in the series.

That moment when you realise that only one of the Team flare Scientists got arrested and the others are still out there somewhere. Lysander you nut case.

Just a correction about Entei in Molly’s section. It isn’t a hypnotised Entei, it’s an Entei created by the Unknown, basically an illusion or fake Entei, that acts as Molly’s father. Molly saw her father like an Entei, cause he would play with her pretending to be one. When the she unknowingly called on the Unknown’s powers, they used her subconscious desires to make a fatherly Entei.

We can't exactly blame Mewtwo. They were created as an experiment by team rocket, a group of Humans, and their pokemon. So, have some pity at least. Mewtwo did save axew and Pikachu in the genesect movie.

@@DaveVampireSlayer Alain is most likely not stronger than Kukui or Bea or Leon though. XY Ash is not as good of a trainer as Sun and Moon or Journeys Ash. Should the rematch happen, Ash should win, and would've at the end of SM as well.

What about the Ather Foundation's Lusamine? In Season 2 of the Pokemon Sun and Moon arc, Lusamine, with help from Dr. Faba, was wanting to explore and study Ultra Beasts. Faba was the intended villain, opening the wormhole first, but Lusamine took advantage and self-sacrificed herself to Nihilego, becoming Mother Beast Lusamine. She is eventually defeated by Ash and Pikachu's 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt, but the true heart changer was Lillie saying that she hates Lusamine. Lusamine did change after falling into a coma, but her corruption, if left unchecked, could spell the end of the world as we know it. She would earn the Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, and Lust medals if she was on the list.

It's not just the villains.

People like rose exist in real life. They'd sacrifice people currently alive to ensure the prosperity of people in the future. That makes him an incredibly realistic villian in my opinion

If this list was based off of the funniest villains, the goofiest villains, or even the biggest pain magnets, Jessie, James and Meowth would be first place

@James Lucas they took the video down and I don't fully remember it but I think they said: Good: Watari, Soichiro, Aizawa and Mogi. Grey: Near, L and Matsuda Evil: Light, Ryuk, Mikami, Misa, Mello and Rem. Watari being the most good and Light being the most evil. I think I remember them saying Near was the most good in the grey area.
