I'm just gonna say it, Cyndaquil is probably my favorite starter Pokémon.

Im the same. Swampert is my all time fave, Typhlosion second. Finally got my shiny Typhlosion too so happy with him. I only wish he got a mega so he could gain a secondary typing..I never understood why GF left some starters mono type when others were dual even in gen 1.
