No the route 10 music isn't dead. In Black 2 & White 2 the house In Icirrus City that contained the ex team rocket in the Black&White now contains An ex team magma and an ex team aqua as well as another NPC who supposedly represents Shota Kageyama; a video game composer who did work in Black&White if you interact with him you can change the music inside the house to the route 10 music. I guess this song must have been special to him.

Nah to me this always felt like the ending credits when your DS died and the 3DS was brand new

This song reminds me of my late grandma. She died when I was 9. In the months before her passing. I would go to her house while my family tried to take care of her, and I would wait in the living room, playing pokemon. I got stuck in route 10 and I remember hearing this track over and over again while I waited there. Now, when I hear this song, it takes me back and reminds me of that time, of my grandma. I miss you Abuela 🕊️

It's the chained limitations on the composer being released. Think about the limitations on sound that the pre - DS systems had. Listen to route one (from Kanto) to its counterpart in Indigo league anime. Just greatness that was waiting to be heard.

Thinking about it, gen 3 had trumpets and did well with them. Gen 5 had accordions and did VERY well with them. This song is proof.

Reading through the comments of abstract pokemon theme videos, and seeing so many people had been playing Pokemon as kids at the same time as me... It makes me want to cry. I'm tearing up a bit while typing this. Im so glad we all got to share that memory. It's very special to me. Love you all, even if we dont know eachother.

When I first heard this theme on white, it instantly became my favorite. My 6-7 year old self was alarmed and began humming to it. Only HG/SS goldenrod city and XY champion theme has given me the opportunity in the series to hum again.

Listening to this music knowing Route 10 eventually gets destroyed makes me want to cry...

When I heard it for the first time, it made me think of how far I had come with my Pokemon. All the battles we faced, all the victories, all the losses, the laughter, the tears. All the time we spent growing together as a team, all the hard work we had done to get there. But I also thought of the challenge that lay ahead. I thought, "This is it. Time to show how far we've come. Time to give it everything we've got!" Few other songs in Pokemon have filled me with as much emotion as this one did.

Probably the most beautiful pokemon route music.

You cannot deny Pokemon has some of the best soundtracks and this is one of them.

This is one of my favorite themes in a Pokemon game. I fell in love with it instantly!

No. Its mostly the number of awfully designed new pokemon that gen 5 "haters" disliked. The music is still amazing though. I don't anyone have complained on Gen 5's music.

Played this game when I was 14, still listening till 17, will probably come back when I'm 30. This theme hits so hard for whatever reason, almost emotional, like reflecting on a journey. Hits really hard :)

This song wouldn't have been as good on any other route. Its like they designed Route 10 and its music at the same time, to compliment each other.

"Well, shucks! Have a good listen, then!" ... He's lost in the music.

LOVE this song! Usually I don't get that "into" the background music from the routes, but this is by far the best and very catchy. I think it really captures the motif of overcoming trials and obstacles while reflecting back on where you've been.

Whenever I’m at that house in Icarus City, I always spend a lot of time just listening to this song with the peaceful atmosphere!

I love this song. I can't describe the feeling it brings though... Is it melancholy? Is it determination? Is it calmness? Or maybe all of them, combining to bring an unforgettable atmosphere to the final stretch of BW. Eh, I don't know. I only know that this theme is legendary.

Black and white had the best route music ever, you cannot change my mind. I miss these games so much.

Pokemon black did have a darker story and great gameplay to it and it will always be my favorite pokemon game next to Pokemon platinum. But this theme is absolutely amazing. 🖤

No. *cries* i miss 2011...

The first time I entered Route 10, I encountered Tornadus and caught him in on the first try with a regular Pokeball. What a great moment!

This is the perfect theme for the last route of the game. It perfectly captures that sunset vibe of the journey nearly being over.

This track is my favorite out of any track in BW, and out of all tracks in Pokémon in general. This route has such a unique and distinct sound, you would have never guessed it was from a Pokémon game. It is completely different from the others and gives that feeling of “you’ve made it this far, don’t give up now” in your heart. Never have I ever heard a track similar to this one.

Even after so many years i still wanna be here. This is the lap of peace for me. Don't wanna let it get away.

I will never let these games go

12 going on 13 and now 23 how the time flies, I miss childhood staying up late at night with my DS under my blankets avoiding my parents when possible it was refreshing. Now it just doesn't feel the same but the nostalgia is there, and this song brings it all rushing back the memories of working so hard and grinding my team to perfection to crush my foes.

Route 10 always gave the feeling of a journey's end to begin a new one. Pokémon White being my first game, always look back to how much I've learnt and grown since. Funny how that was 10 years ago and with The Indigo Disk taking us to Unova. Dropped everything when hearing that news. Even went to try gathering my OG team (I WANT BOLDURE TO COME AS WELL!!!!)

Just went through a nuzlocke,my final place to find audinos was here,on route 10.I have no regrets wasting max repels and pps of my pokemon.But I lost my Scrafty here,sad.

This is the best ost in all of pokemon, hands down. Its such a perfect theme to express the road to the last obstacle of the journey. I guess I like this theme the most because it kinda represents the journey I will have to undertake soon too.

This music makes me think of just all the Pokemon I caught in this game and it kinda makes me think "well, my adventure through this region is nearly over...*looks back on good moments training all my Pokemon* today, I become, Unova's new...CHAMPION!

normaly the routs say "go go go, you're almost there" while this song has that message, but it also tells me "take your time and enjoy it" i love this song, and hatch my eggs there because i could listen to this song forever and not get tired of it

I usually didn't find this song that captivating to me until I just listened to it for the first time in a while. Really takes me back when I was just 10 years old playing this for the first time and the simplicity that came with it. Now, I'm a lost 20 something with desperate need for a therapist lol. I know there is hope, but sometimes it gets hard. Especially when I feel like it's all my fault and the worlds seems bleak at times. Yet, I prevail. I also remember hearing this in the beginning of a dykg video of the same game lol. The beginning parts are nonetheless iconic to me. I wish I could go back for a moment just to feel how it meant to be innocent and content.

Gosh I remember when I first heard this at the age of 9, when life was good. I'm now in my final year of university.

The fact that everyone loves this song and I don't even remember it. I mean I do love the song now but... honestly I think my only happy moments playing BW were area themes and this should've been one of them...

I never realized this before, but this song sounds almost like T Hawk's theme from Super Street Fighter IV, which that game came out 5 months before Pokemon Black And White was released

I have many memories from this game, the nostalgia hits hard, also my favorite route theme

Soon enough, you will know when you will face the final challenge. Until then, there will be more that stand in your way. Push through regardless.

What I most like in this music is the feeling of a goal that was finally achived, that after all the hardwork that we add, the adventures, friendships, the hellos and goodbyes we can say that we did it, we've finnaly did it! It comes to this and only this! there's no escape for what is to come. It is not a bad thing if we hug it with pleaseure and the feeling of that it's not the end of everything, just the beggining of another adventure. And this goes to everything not just pokémon.

So you've finally gotten all 8 badges, for most trainers this would be a thrilling and happy final stretch to the league...but you? Team Plasma has ALL they need now to execute their plan; N has the legendary Dragon as a loyal ally... and you're the only one with a sliver of hope against them...and even that's not for sure! What if you aren't deemed worthy of the opposing dragon? what if N does manage to instill his values on Unova and eventually the world? There's a lot of pressure on you...You're not going to the league for a title like most...you're going there to save the region. I feel like this track perfectly fits that, it's not upbeat, but not quite intimidating yet...It's melancholic. you're slowly but surely getting out of the frying pan on this route, and into the fire of victory road and the events that will follow...and it's fair for the protagonist to have doubt in their goals at this point, and to reflect on how a simple gift of a pokemon back with your friends has spiraled into you possibly being the other new chosen one for Unova, destined to define the future.

POV: You heard this track in smash ultimate and thought it was a banger, to find out the original was also an epic banger

Sinnoh Route 209 will forever have the song that makes me most emotional. This one, though? This one is absolutely up there. It's this song that makes me feel like I didn't devote enough time to Black and White, as well as their sequels. I wanna play them again sometime.

Listened to the entire 15 minutes and 30 seconds and I don't feel tired of this music at all...Definitely one of the best B/W songs, even though there are many! I wish they kept Route 10. :')

Being an old fart, my heart will always belong to gen 1 and 2, but reading that doesn't mean I don't like the rest. Reading the comments, I'm really glad that you guys all love these newer tracks as much as I love the older ones ^-^

This music from a video game almost made me cry on my first listening. With my team of Krookodile, Seismitoad, Unfezant (I didn't want him either), Zebstrika, Chandelure, and Serperior, I expected not much from this route, considering it was right before Victory Road. Hell no. This very song just got to my ears and, after reminding me of the good of my own life-the progress I've made, the people I've made happy, the hard times I have overcome, and the stories I've seen or read of course-I somehow held in my tears. I don't know how or why I did, but I did. That's all. Pokémon route music almost made me cry.

I love this track more than any other in the pokemon series. I arrived on Route 10 through my first playthrough at 6 PM, when the sky was a bright orange, and there was a drizzle, making the entire environment seem eerie. As we walk this path, we know that N is probably beating Alder, and we are the region's only hope to save the relationship between man and pokemon. This theme reflects the feelings of dread, uncertainty, and nervous exhilaration that the main character feels at this moment.

God, I love this music.
