Another Lomo inspired testing / review session.. This time Pogies and Beanies and some Gul gloves. (Apologies to Zoran - I sound a little ungrateful).
A big thanks to the Gossips Café www.gossipscafe.co.uk for welcoming us despite our soggy bottoms and thanks also to Ian / @wavesoffun for covering the bill.

Porgies look like a great idea to keep the hands warm and have a good grip on the paddle. However, if you managed to up end, how easy is it to get them off for a wet exit?

Was that seal at Milford? There's one that is a resident by the castle. It was watching me fish. On another note I was opening the door to my lorry today & Clayton started talking to me?? My phone pocket clicked on your video lol. No Octane for Chris? too cold was it.

Haha.. excellent. Clayton does get around like that. The seal was between Keyhaven and Lymington when saw him. We saw another outside Lymington on the way back that same day but too far away to show up on camera. I have seen one off Milford too, assuming there's more than one around here.

Ah.. and Cap'n C... yes. He did mention the temperature in the same sentence as not yet having tried the Delphin. Haha..
The Valkyrie appears to be a quick kayak. I also noticed that you kept a brisk cadence. I have a Delphin which I am unable to move as fast as you, however I think that I am a good bit older. Does the Valkyrie surf as well as the Delphin?

Hi Tommy Yes, the Valkyrie is a quick kayak. It has very little rocker compared to the Delphin and is a lot longer. I surf both the Valkyrie and a Delphin 150. The Delphin is much less prone to pearl or nose dive than the Delphin due to the rocker but both surf really well.
