Thanks to the new transfigured Stone Golem of the Hordes gem scaling cooldown recovery with quality, the Stone Golems can now perma-slam at every budget as long as you follow the gear instructions (cdr vs attack speed) closely. The section about the slam-default rotation being dmg optimal is thereby obsolet.

Is there a reason you don't use empower on stone golem? Also, summon stone golem of hordes has 40% CDR as quality now. Does that make perpetual slams a lot easier to get with fewer downsides?

Empower isn't dmg optimal and the extra survivability isn't needed. And yeah with an Ashes of the Stars (30% for the high budget) you can perma slam at every level of investment, making the Stone Golem the best golem for single target as of now. @@KyokujiFGC

What kind of dot dmg? Ignites should be manageable with Soul of Abberath, Cold dmg is mostly area dmg you have to step out of and if poison is an issue you can go for a second life flask that removes it. @@KyokujiFGC

hi i like Golems but never get them really online. I have 1-2 Questions. 1. Why we take Zealots Oath while not full ES or CI? or the low Budget miss the Recovery Mastery that change the Recovery? 2. Why use the Gravens Secret as Belt in Medium Budget? Charges from Spectre? And what is the ~ Budget of Medium +2 Minions Wand looks bit spicy 3. At what Point u use Stone Golem? the Golem Stones are a bit pricy early. U start as Ele and switch? 4. I know the Gems Slots are very filled but what is maybe with a Chaos Golem + Blessing, with the CD Jewels the golems get a soild Life Reg. Maybe an idea or not worth it

1. ZO makes ES a useful form of hitpoints (because you can regenerate it), especially once you start transitioning to CI which I always do via es/life hybrid; personally dislike the regen every 4 seconds effects on players because they are very inconsistent 2. To mitigate the impact of elemental damage; medium budget is usually 50 divs +2 wands with fractured mods like this are ~5 divs incl. fossils if you don't overspend 3. I usually play a different minion until I get my hands on the jewels; Ele/Necro isnt the biggest difference for phys golems because the Elementalist provides nothing besides +max golems it also has worse defenses against physical/chaos damage because of the missing block from Bone Offering 4. You cant fit haste early on so you would have to get discipline which isn't worth loosing the Stone Golem and the Zombies (blockers/add. clear speed) imo

Thanks for this guide! I've done stone golems a few leagues ago and missed it dearly, very slept-on build. It's mostly working OK as league start for me, though I am not far into maps. Not running anima, might, or forbidden jewels due to cost. I was however able to get CI part of the build running for < 100c. I am using the Hordes transfigured gem which removes the life regen from the golems, but Primalist ascendancy with %ES regen charms is AMAZING for survivability. The Perfect Guardian Turtle spectre gives free determination (at least 90% of the time if it can keep up lol), and I am also running Perfect Forest Warrior for onslaught and culling strike and Host Chieftan for power charges (absorption for me with that cheap belt). My question: how you are able to get 6 golems on POB? I count 1 from base gem, +1 from Golem Commander, +1 from Elemancer, +2 from Anima Stone, but where is the 6th one coming from?

Stone Golem of the Hordes is 3 base golems, Anima Stone is only 1 these days = total of 6 golems in the medium/high budget

@@sapheryPoE I understand it's only one now, my question was about the POB which was for 3.22, it all adds up to 5 golems not 6. I know for 3.23 you can do Hordes (3), Anima (+1), Golem Commander (+1), Elemancer (+1) = 6, but you couldn't do that last league. Just wanted clarification in case I was missing something. Thanks!

Predator support is all you need for bosses and in the mapping setup primordial might is still present.

Do you have the Mana Mastery, the Enlighten and the reservation efficiency from the helmet? Because if you have everything you should be able to fit all auras + Tempest Shield

hello, i see in the low budget build under the league start tab you use the dagger instead of clay shaper, but in the video you don't mention it so is it better to use the clay or the dagger one for tier 11+ mapping? thank you

Haven't gotten through the whole video yet, so this question may get addressed, but why stone golem over carrion golem? Aren't carrion golems just strictly better if you don't need the regen?

Carrion Golems have less AoE dmg and unlike the Stone Golems are dependant on other minions to boost their damage (usually Zombies) which has implications for gem sockets and minion survivability. Also build variation

Cold conversion looks better than phys in the next league but this will most likely be true for all minions. Also Replica Covenant isn't something I would use because it would cost you a lot defenses. It's probably best used in life based cold conversion builds @@Xmaxsax

They are unique items and it's one of their unique modifiers, just look for them on trade.

You can find that in the PoBs. The AG has a specific gear set and the spectres can be found in the skill tab on the left.

Elementalist is a terrible Ascendancy for minions (including Golem builds) because it doesn't scale them at all. The +max number of golems doesn't make up for the non-existing minion scaling at any budget level (with the exception of low budget Flame Golem builds). If you wanna tank up against Ubers the best approach would be to raise max. elemental resistances like so: pobb.in/kWPzcHYmyPK4

For Skin of the loyal you have to pick an appropriate base and double corrupt it. For alternatives like Incandescent Heart double corrupt and manipulate the colours via the bench or tainted chromatic orbs

i struggle with league start damage..i have two clayshapers and hordes gem with 7 golems...and 6 link...and barely can kill rare mobs..it takes quite a while..edit: woth 3x harmony and anima stone and aggressive golems...i cannot do red maps...and barely t7+

Are you doing the league mechanic by any chance? Because pretty much every ls build struggles with empowered rares. I don't recommend doing the mechanic early on ... I'm in a medium budget for a different build and I'm still not doing it.

If the market is empty you have to double corrupt chests yourself. Skin of the loyal is optimal but you could alternatively use Incandescant Heart as a base. If you don't want to double corrupt armours yourself you could use a skin of the lord if you find one with the approriate colours. Not using Predator Support is not optimal because you lose the ability to force your minions to attack bosses and giving up a primordial harmony for a primordial might in the bossing setup is bad for dmg. @@johnnydrill4070

@@sapheryPoE Yeah you get the auras and the "RF" minion to help with clear when your gear is ass. Also you don't get the primordial jewels on day 1. Would probably be better off with Carrions then maybe.

Carrion Golems are a bit stronger at league start but suffer from the same issues as Stone Golems. Better to start with a different minion altogether if you want to really speed things up.

You can swap out the Assassin's Mark in the mapping skill setup for Convocation. This is how I usually play as well, kinda forget to change it in that skill setup

PoBs have been updated but not much has changed. You can't allocate Bone Barrier because without the AoE from Plaguebringer the clear is really underwhelming and without Mistress of Sacrifice you have to play Evasion + Spell Suppression with Spirit Offering which is much worse in terms of minion damage and survivability. You can start using Stone Golems as a main dmg minion once you have two clayshapers but it is generally advisable to play another build until you have the clayshapers and the primordíal jewels.
