The amount of multi modding / meta crafts is crazy but it works so well 🎉

The annuls were really rough, but I think this craft is a very good example of how powerful the metacrafts can be. Also cool thing to note, the new Crop Rotation keystone on the atlas tree makes finding t4 harvests a lot easier, and there's a divine div card you can farm now, which means this type of shield can be a SSF project.

So all i have to say is great work sir, just did your shield and weap craft and i really like the way you make you videos, since i dont have your knowledge, i bow to it and i raise my glass to you good sir, please keep it up, if your interested, i got the shield 50/50 twice in a row and had to move to your fossil strat on the sceptre but rocked it first roll, guess having a good teacher and beginners luck pays off, but the credit is all yours, :) ya im the same Grizzly saying thanks twice, stay safe exile

I managed to save a ton by hitting +1 phys spell gems on the first reforge, saving all the meta crafting for removing the other mod and skipping right to the last step. Thanks m8, you're the best.

Dude. I am so happy that you are trying this build. I wanted to do the same thing after playing ice spear totems. This should be an easy transition. I haven’t seen anything for a build guide for this though. I am very new to POE and I play on PS5 lol. Would you consider doing an overview of the build or build guide? Thanks bud. I love deterministic crafting. also I got very lucky on the 30% reservation lol. I was like 20 alts in, did not have to annul on magic and got not screwed on rare. but as a balance act I failed on my first annul for the phys thorns. in any case, I love such crafts. and I love the build :)

I think because we only need mana efficiency. So we have to annul. If there are only 2 mods then annul chance is 50:50. Easier to remove unwanted mod.

This also works for all the other +1 to skill gems e.g., reforge fire for %inc fire then reforge again for +1

This alt spam, aug, regal, exalt cycle has been my life working on my BiS cluster jewel.

Ripppp was doing this. And the first reforge phys gave me the reflect... AND tier 10 maximum life. After spending the six div on 3 craft mods + prefixes & suffixes cannot be change.

Ouch I'm sorry :( for some reason I totally overlooked that outcome and didn't mention it (I usually do but because this was such a weird craft, I wasn't as confident with it). I alluded to it when I said something like 'it could get annoying' but didn't make it clear that the scenario you found yourself in was a possibility 😢 that's my bad!

The sceptre craft will be out in a couple of days! I'm using the new Dragonfang amulet so won't be crafting a +2 for this build (thank goodness! :D )

What can I do if reforged 2 another mods? I can't reroll these mods in horticrafting station, because "Item has no space for more mods"

hey im trying to make a shield for storm burst totem with +1 lightning skill gem would this concept work the exact same way ?

I have a rare amulet with level of all skills on it (just that) im running a EA elementalist. What further crafting method would you advise?

He has a video in crafting a +2 amulet for RF. The process should be the same, but tldr: you set up suffixes in such a way that you can lock prefixes and force +1 fire with a harvest augment+remove craft.

This is really strange, but have they patched this out ???? Rolled the 30% res, crafteed multimod, locked both Pref and Suff and went to bench. Hit the Reflect mod, but then when I try the 2nd reroll Phys to hit +1, it says there are no mods available. Does having an influence on the shield mean anything as it's the only thing I can think of.

You miss the first annuls - but at least you're not annul off "Suff cant change" in the end.

Well I hit the 30% reservation, +1 physical , and reflection, now i got the up to 3 modifiers, cannot roll caster modifiers and suffixes cannot be changed, when I use the annulment orb it deletes the suffixes cannot be changed instead of the reflection, is that ok? Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, What am I doing wrong? Have the shield with reservation, prefix can't be changed, suffix can't be changed, have up to 3 crafted mods, and rerolled phys. Got phys reflect as first mod, as in the video, but now when i roll again, I get a popup that says "There are no valid mods for this craft on this item", so it will not add the +1 to phys. The open prefix slot is there, but will not add it.

Well, unless I missed it somewhere in the video, this only works on an int based shield. I was using str/int archon kite shield. +1 not available as a craft on it. 6 Div gone!!!

Ehm... after i hit the reforge in the beginning, it crafted reflect phys but ALSO max energy shield, did i just lose 6divs or what hapend?

@@Lolcohol well, i tried anul, wich hit, and got the craft needed second time, + it sold same day with around 6 divs profit. so ended up quite good :) thanks for the craft! I am though looking for a special craft, and will def sponsor it if you down for it. ill get in touch on discord :)

I too suck with Annuls

So I now have a shield with 30% reservation eff, +15 mana and phys reflect. GG divines i guess. How +15 mana appears with phys reforge is beyond me.

so i isolated my res efficiency and crafted my 3 mods, suffixes cannot be changed and prefixes cannot be changed, then reforged physical and it filled up my prefixes.... with stun and block recovery and energy shield.... did i just waste 6 divines? did i follow the video wrong?

Ah fuck that is something I totally overlooked as a possible outcome and yeah it sucks. You didn't follow the guide incorrectly but may need to scour and restart or remove crafted mods and try annul that crappy prefix. I tested in CoE and that didn't ever happen so I'll need to check the odds of filling prefixes on that reforge phys Someone else suggested possibly using essence of contempt til you get the reservation and the annul down to just the reservation and reflect. Not sure how many it would take but you can use the cheapest essences. I'll also check that out on Craft of Exile

i just had the same thing happen to me on this step. i got 1 phys damage reflect and 30 mana xD rip

If i "reforge" at HorticraftingBench an item with a craftmod ("Cannot modify Prefix" for exemple), it remove the craftmod ...

Why you didn't say about ruin possibility when reforging? I ruined shield 2 times and lost 14 Div because of you...

DAMN, next time just give it to me, I'll annul off the correct mod first try. This league my rng has been crazy good. div in act 9 and 10, first map I got a relq key and 5th map another div, the next day I ID'd a rare wand with +2 fire with 60% increased fire dmg

okey buddy. kinda depends when you do this craft. imprints are very cheep early. and i didnt say anything about cost. i said it woud have saved him pain and time. @@Senny_V

Because of how deterministic it is, it won't make too much of a difference but I definitely saved at least 6-8 Div by self crafting!

You risk having prefixes filled by the first Phys reforge. The better way to do it is spam Contempt essence (any tier) until hitting Reservation then isolate these 2 mods.

You can't fill pref, since it has suff can't be changed crafted in them, and pref can't be changed in suffixes. Meaning all it can do is add into empty mod slots, but not change the existing ones.

@@th6410 Plus what you're offering is fully randomly slamming a rare item until you get res eff, probably with a bunch of other mods, then annulling them all until you don't hit the res eff and/or the reflect.. like.. yeah. Just do the 0-100% deterministic approach, bike's been invented, no need to start from the wheel here.

The item in question is having following mods: P1: Suffixes cannot be changed S1: 30% Reservation S2: Prefixes cannot be changed S3: Can have upto 3 crafted mods. Now according to this video, you Reforge Phys (mostly twice, because the first time will get Phys Reflect). However, during this first step, you can get Phys Reflect AND ANOTHER 3RD PREFIX, bricking the whole item. You are only safe after you get Phys Reflect and still have 1 open prefix, so that the second Phys Reforge is guaranteed to add +1 Phys gem level. Or for fuck's sake just go on craftofexile and try it for yourself. It's so ironic you talk about deterministic, when my approach is the more deterministic one, regarding to saving div for metacrafts.

showing us how not to craft again i see lol...if you put 30% quality on the item first before rolling you are far more likely to hit the 30% mod silly goose
