I'm 66. Oh how i wish i had heard and been more aware of how important your microbiome is. Wasn't till i got Sibo that I've been learning all about this.

Omg... bought a whole bag of potato starch to make the Sibo yogurt. Then a gal said it settles in bottom so i bought the inulin. So happy to hear you mention i can add to smoothies because i had no idea how to use it. You are very informative ❤

I just found out that the kefir is causing an over abundance of Histamine. I love the kefir, but overwhelmed by the rashes and hives 😣. Any suggestions?

I have heard people making the comment that just keep pushing through it that once you're microbiams are better the histamine will be less

So my question is, can I mix raw honey with milk Kefir? And I've heard that you can feed it to your pets but how, they don't eat fiber?

I drink a kefir smoothie every day, sometimes twice a day (because I have 2 kids under 3 so cooking is hard. If I still eat things like rice and homemade sweets along with fruits and veggies, will my gut be able to heal?

I am curious. Do you get sick or does this great gut health protect you by enhancing your immune system?

Will the bacteria remain inside you as lomg as they have food? Or do you need to continually eat say kifer for example so you always have them .

It depends, some of the fermented foods, for instance kefir has some strains that stay indefinitely but other bacteria like the ones in cultured vegetables, L Plantarum are transient bacteria which only last a few days.

@@CulturedFoodLife wouldnt it be best to drink some kifer before refrigerating it as the live bacteria would be slowed down vs active if taken only refrigerated?
