The ying and the yang. On the one hand, watching you bag yarn makes feel guilty because I’m not bagging my own yarn! On the other hand watching you bag yarn is strangely satisfying, because yarn IS being organized. I think the solution is maybe for me to crochet while you bag, then I could be getting something done AND still see and listen to you. It is fun to watch. I bought the bags from amazon. Thanks for sharing.

Love it! I might be a girl but my male cousin and I were both his age when our grandmother started teaching us. It was a great. #1. It kept us concentrating on one task and not arguing; #2. It helped with our math at a glance; and BIG#3 We had the time with our grandmother while drawing us closer when we helped each other.

@@VickyM2362 he has said it many times, he was bullied as a kid, and his aunt and grandmother taught him to crochet just, so. He loved it, would stay home and crochet. To be in his happy place.

I use 1 &2 gallon freezer bags from a warehouse store (not Costco). They seal very securely and incase of watery issues the yarn are dry. FYI🎉

I'm weird I love watching yarn bagging. I ordered bags myself, caught the bug lol. I'm even going to bag my balls to keep them from getting tangled. I can sort by colors. I can use the stitch marker trick to help keep them together. I just feel like I'm sitting crocheting with a friend watching the bagging. It's somehow relaxing. I always watch Nancy love her. He's got yarn to hallarious.

I've got all my yarn bagged up, but I used the reusable zipped bags, similar to afghan storage bags. I may have paid a bit more for the square footage of storage, but they can be reused indefinitely so I think the cost difference will end up being a wash. Have fun bagging up! 🐞

I love your bagging yarn video. It is so special to have the yarn available when I see a video I need to try doing. I just love the feel of beautiful yarn. No new projects at the minute. I’m working on a lap afghan and then going to finish a full size chevron one I started in the ninety’s. The yarn is so beautiful but I went back to work and put it aside when I moved to a new home for my husbands health. I drank Tim Hortons while my daughter was in the hospital. It was in the councilor's lounge. It wasn't bad. Though, i am a Caribou coffee drinker. Particularly the Reindeer blend through the holidays. But their due north blend is also good. I usually buy enough pounds of it to get throug the seasons.

I have a coffee brand to try to add to your list! I'm addicted to Bones Coffees, right now I'm using the Nightmare Before Christmas flavors ... delicious! I kinda consider myself a coffee addict to go with being a yarn addict. You have inspired me to think about bagging up my yarn in my craftroom, hoping it would help organize all my shelf space better as well as the totes becausemy craftroom is currently a hot mess express with a yarn 🧶 explosion 🤣

Dollar tree has french vanilla coffee and hazelnut coffee. I mixed the 2 together then added sugar free creamer hazelnut and French vanilla flavor. Then to be bad i added peanut butter to my coffee

A couple weeks ago Crysta was talking about cellophane bagging yarn so I ordered some from Amazon. It was a lot of fun bagging my yarn! It was also an eye opener because I had yarn I had forgotten about! Once I get my shipment of granny square yarn from Joann's, I will be out of actual storage space! {Bet I can squeeze in a bit more tho lol) That means I need to crochet like a banshee! So many things to say/ask.. 1. Yes, my 3 grandchildren are crocheting. The 13 and 11 year olds crochet. I've gone through the basics and we're going to get together soon to try new stitches/patterns. My 3 year old, watches the videos with me sometimes. She asked me to crochet. So I gave her a small ball of yellow yarn with K hook ( her first name initial), in her own crochet tote. Every so often, she'll get her tote to " crochet😅 with Nonna". I help her put the hook in, yarn over and pull out a few times. She usually, gets bored after a couple tries and moves on to something else. Then I'll do 4 or 5 rows on her little project, so she feels like she's 'making her blanket'. 😊 2. Coffee: Tim Horton has been my favorite for a few years. Every so often, I'll have Cafe Bustello. It's a heavier, darker coffee ( actually an expresso, I think). I generally like the medium blends. I'm not a fan of the dark roasts. 3. I've been meaning to ask how you keep your coffee warm throughout your podcast. I also like hit coffee. I always do 30 seconds in the micowave as soon as I get it. So what kind of warmer do you use?

I have a set of the Dots, they are great hooks. I wasn't so sure about them before I got them but I really like them. I just bought a complete set of the prym hooks to try out. I started a group here in my county that makes blankets for Hospice and plan to try the prym hooks when I start my next blanket 😊

My daughter is 14, n i keep asking her if she wants to learn to crochet so she can make her own things. At least i was able to teach my son's girlfriend how to crochet.

Hi Juan. I just went through the exercise of bagging yarn. I organized mine by planned project, which mostly was bagging by one color, but not always. I used organza bags I got from Amazon and I could fit more skeins in the larger bags - 6 - 12 depending on the size of the skein. Jumbo skeins much less.

Hi Juan, suggestion, per what I do....lol I take a blank label and either computer print or write the color and weight on each one and put at bottom of bag. You could put in center if works better for you. Keep doing you, like always love watching!

Would definitely order varying sizes of bags. But after deciding how many your would like to fit into bag measure to get t he closest size possible. I think it is a good idea to bag the yarn before putting it into the new shelving you are expecting. Will make it easier to put into the cubbies.

Re: coffee I'm from Canada and moved to Vermont last year. I love tim hortons, but it doesn't taste the same to me brewed in my home coffee pot situation. On another note, I can't stand duncan donuts coffee when I got it several times in store, and it tastes very bitter to me, but I have not tried to brew it at home. My favourite thing in Canada was nescafe has premade packets of coffee with sugar and creamer. You just add water to it, and it's so creamy and delicious. I still have yet to find a coffee I like since moving here :( so I have been just drinking black tea (tetley)
