Salty looks like perfect fit

Just discovered your podcast - I was knitting the Oslo Hat mohair edition as I watched. I really enjoyed it. I am a big fan of PetiteKnits, as well. You'll love your Monday Sweater - it's my favourite sweater. I think your Salty Days sweater looks terrific. Happy knitting and hope to catch you again soon!

@@Goodknits_ I bought so much when I was there, I couldn't help it. The only thing that saved me was that I was passing through town so couldn't go there twice.

Love your plan to knit the Gallant pullover in Woolfolk Far! I have Far in a green colorway and might also do the same. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the Woolfolk Far yarn, but FYI, it does pill VERY easily (which is a bummer bc it is so pricey.) Lovely color you chose!

@@Goodknits_ I loved knitting with it and it’s so soft to wear. Just have to be diligent about maintenance of the garment. Worth it, IMO!

I test knitted the salty days sweater and even though my gauge was correct, the width of the sweater wasn't the same as in the pattern, and other people had the same problem. I don't know if she corrected that one later, at least not in the first published version. However, it is one of my most worn sweaters and I like the fit a lot, the fit is quite like yours (I made size S). :) Ps. Please don't apologize on anything - you film when you film, we don't expect perfect lighting, the conditions are what they are! My opinion is that podcasters apologize too much 😊

Good to hear about your troubles with the pattern as well. Thankfully I did stretch it out enough and I think it will be okay, but not exactly the fit I was hoping for. Still beautiful though. And appreciate the feedback on apologizing! It’s also the Canadian in me 😂

Stashbot, an app by Hannah Fettig, is great for estimating yarn yardage for various garment based on gauge of yarn and size. It's VERY useful when I'm in LYS and fall in love with a yard but don't have a pattern/project in mind.
