Great video's, keep em coming; I see a few knee braces and they all look fairly semilar, its hard to decide on one, their is no load rating to get an idea of strength. For example- how strong are the braces? if you stand on the side do they flex? If they do, are they supposed to flex? How much load does the knee protector withstand? Is it possible to test different braces to see their limits?

You inspired me, I bought a set. Mainly because 1. They're medically certified 2. They're rebuildable (years of use) 3. Comfort/looks! It was between these and leatt x frame.

Great video chase.. been researching on the K8.. yours are the most informative and helpful videos on the net.. thanks for making and sharing just one question.. they say these gaurds can be used for multi sport.. how versatile are they? I play badminton and wear knee sleeves you think these would work for a sport like that or are they only for more heavy duty sports where its protection over agility

I would say protection over agility. I wouldn't want to try and fun with these at full speed haha. Just my opinion thought. But with our fit guarantee, you can try them on and see if you think they would work for you. - Chase

Looks like a good knee brace and glad to hear the sizing can be modified with the included pads. What track was this filmed at? Looks like somewhere in SoCal but I don't recognize it.

How does this compare to the Alpinestars fluid Tech pro? Would you recommend the k8 over that one ?

Ryan, yes, I would take these over the Tech pro. The Tech pro's are light and comfortable, but in my opinion, they have too much flex and aren't rigid enough around the knee. The K8 just seems a little better build in my opinion. I've really like my set and once i got the spacers right around the knee, i've had zero complaints. Nothing is wearing and they fit really well. I definitely recommend the knee brace sleeves from POD too. _Chase

How does this compare to Carbon Cell 1 Asterisk? Which one is better?

The POD is a very well built knee brace that is comfortable and durable. The Cell 1 is slimmer and lighter. I had no issues with fit on either one. - Chase

@@yoshirohi8464 I don't know if they're equally strong, but they're two of the strongest braces out there. I wouldn't be worried about strength with either one. - Chase
