Why does it sound like the throttle is cutting on and out ? Were you pushing the car to it's full potential...or just a relaxing ride ? Making plans for next Spring, thanks for sharing, enjoyed your video .

Thanks for watching, Joe! This was one of their automatic cars (truth be told, I wanted stick but a bit of a mix-up). What sounds like the throttle cutting is probably more of the quick shift to fourth even though I thought I was in high gear. Not pushing to full potential, but probably pushed 145 mph. Top speeds are 160 mph. Loved my time and hope you enjoy!

The idea is to stay 4 cars lengths behind the instructors car, and follow in his tire tracks, that way each lap will get faster.

I’m looking to plan a day to do this I just have one question. Do you have a radio in when driving? Like is there a “crew chief” talking to you during your drive?

No. You are on your own out there. Just follow the instructor's car by about 4 cars lengths.
