Hi frankie! Great review as always. Btw, can you make a review about miui 13 on redmi note 10 pro global? I've been seeing a lot of complaints about tons of bugs in that version.

So the M4 Pro is essentially a Redmi Note 11S with thwice the internal storage for a little less money? Whats not to love? At this pricepoint i think they did an amazing job, even with the usual AD infestation. (Surely there will be custom ROM's available in no time.)

Honestly Frankie the Poco X 4 Pro is just too narrow for me but it's tempting. They're too many 6.7 inch phones and not too many of the phones like the Mate 20x left anymore.

I love the design of both phones however about the camera performance it is a bet shakey for x4 pro than m4pro about the sound i go for x4 pro.

Hello nice review could you help me with a link for a nilkin case or other brand for this phone? Because it has different dimensions from pco m4 5g and poco x4. Thanks anyway

The X4 Pro had everything to be a banger, it is a straight upgrade on pretty much every aspect compared to the X3 Pro. But they really had to sacrifice that great performance of the 860 for a 695. It will still sell well, but I doubt it'll sell or be loved as much as the X3 Pro was.

Yeah it’s a good point. Imagine this release with Snapdragon 860, it would have been a HUGE hit for them! Of course the 695 isn’t a bad chipset, but it’s limitations are apparent (lower Antutu and gaming performance, no rear 4K video) so I think anyone hoping to have seen an upgrade in this regard will be miffed. 😅

@@FrankieTech They could've easily made this X4 Pro into a X4 NFC and released a proper X4 Pro with a 865, which would've been an upgrade on the 860, and that'd be a worthy replacement. Hopefully the X5 Pro will be treated better...

Finally! Another Frankie Tech vid we were all waiting for! But seriously disappointed with the downgrade of Poco X series. 😔 The previous gen boasted SD 860 but this is a serious downgrade with SD 695. Absolutely outrageous!

that's why 5G should be ditched to get better SoC at same value.

The 695 used is a serious downgrade from the 860 and no 4k recording. Don't think there are any compelling reasons to 'upgrade' if you are on the x3 series. If it's 5G you want, there are much better options available.

The Poco X4 is basically the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G with an option to opt for the 256GB version. The specs and prices for the two are VERY similar...

I’ve seen another well known You Tuber analyse this phone, it looks good but there are compromises that the average phone user and non spec geek wouldn’t realise.

Poco Yellow colour is the main attraction as Redmi 11 series no longer offers warm colour option.

Looks like the pattern is unmistakable by now. First the Redmi Note 11, now it's Poco phones as well. The downgrade SOC's is quite a bummer here so the gaming experience will be not as good as the X3 PRO. Let's wait and see if the POCO F4 gets downgraded and be less appealing as well....

I'm an F3 user. I think the Poco F4 could get a SOC upgrade to last gen SD888 with some improved cooling. I'd say that would be a solid release imo.

When comparing the Redmi Note and Poco equivalents, the main deal-breaker for me is that the Poco launcher is so much jankier than the stock Xiaomi launcher. Just try scrolling up and down the Google feed to see the difference!

Design is different but in specs is almost similar to the Redmi Note 11 series. I really don't know why Xiaomi is pulling off this unrealistic approach to their phones in their portfolio? Yes, R&D is expensive but can't think of different design elements just to differentiate the phones by at least 2/3 of the phone's blueprint? It really gets to be as boring as ever for Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco's portfolio in the budget to the lower and midtier midrange phones.

@@FrankieTech for me, they don't realized it because it's still being approved by Xiaomi even though they and some die hards will say that they are separated with their parent company. But it's evident here that there's only 10% changes in the phone.

Looks like Poco M4 pro has more stabilization on its video recording.

Honestly we need the Mi 12 Ultra. And a budget phone with good telephoto. These phones don’t offer much more compared to old Xiaomi 8s etc (that’s why we aren’t watching these reviews?)

I think it's probably because a lot of the new high end SOCs are very power hungry and hard to keep stable. But just to keep the device specsheet looking fresh they opt for the new mid range SOCs. Definitely not a good thing but I understand what they tried to do

695 chipset has no 4k video. Sad

695 is like stepping back into the past. Even the x3 nfc is 730. Feels like we’re back in 2020.

Between the x4 pro and m4 pro this year, m4 pro maybe the better budget phone. Hope the f4 keeps the 870, or if it’s a rebrand 12x also great.

They put it in pixel and it performed like 732, they have it in the original OnePlus nord if I recall. 750 was better. 778 good as well but rare. But if the 695 is 765 level then it should be better than the x3 nfc 732. Wonder what’s causing all the lag.

it should be better then x3 pro but it's not :( ufs 2.2 not 3 and worst preforming processor in games and no 4k video recording in poco x4 pro? why?? yes it is nice that it has amoled + 30 minutes faster charging + better camera? + 5g support. it should be better in all points if you adding number not downgraded. not interested to "upgrade" :)

Xiaomi and Poco are out of options and ideas, I can't say I blame them, last year phones were solid releases for them and so hard to beat. Isn't it funny that they couldn't beat the standard they made last year. 😂😂😂 At least this year they gave the phones a good design which is very much welcomed but Poco made one mistake, Poco brand has never really been sold with Camera as the value. The value of Poco phones has always been the Chooser, no more, no less. Once they fail to release a phone with Great chipset and amazing screen, they lose. Anyways great design nevertheless, if only this had a 865 chipset, it would have been the Bomb. By the way, no one cares about 5g for now 😂😂😂

Not a fan of either, but if I had to pick it would be the Poco X4 Pro. It's a heavy boi at 205 gram though. Wouldn't trade my Mi11 Lite 5G for it that's for sure!

X4 pro is heavy but better than m3 pro

Sound Audio and voice quality is very poor during calls. Vibration is very low when incoming calls and notifications. While driving I missed many important calls and notifications. I ll use as a Only secondary basic feature phone (POCO M4 PRO 4G 6GB 128GB) Because a good battery with fast charging, and good display. Note: I ll ask for return and refund for this worst product, they ll not respond. Mi, Xiaomi, Poco fans kindly consider and check ear piece voice call quality then compare with basic feature phone. Don't waste money and effort, then u decide. I am using this mobile 7+days Sure I ll send this too all youtuber's and all social medias too Hate flipcart why not refund, only option for replacement. Also finally don't get replacement also. Good Basic feature phone at this price range around Rs. 15,000

X4 pro was a total disappointment, in my opinion the Poco M4 Pro because of the value and what it offers is a more interesting device, being even more interesting than its 5g version, it seems that this year little is lost
